Ooo blimey it's hot! I've just got the table and chairs out for dinner and I'm sweltering lol.
Been invited to DD assembly tomorrow afternoon - she's getting an award for English, apparently :T you know, the child that can't read fluently <rollseyes>
This afternoon I've washed down the porch woodwork, except the ceiling. I might talk to my stepdad about having it closed in. Would probably keep the hall warmer in winter.
I've also opened a new bank account that pays interest. I had a staff deal package account that was great value but I'm no longer eligible. The public rate doesn't make the travel insurance and breakdown cover a good discount. So I'll need to look into replacing those although we're not going away anytime soon.
Right, going to fix some dinner for the kiddies then go for a shower - phew!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Sounds like you've been working really hard bossy. Well done to your little one on the award.
Filled four CS bags and two binbags this afternoon. I've got a box full of stuff I think can go but I want Dh to have a look through and see if there is anything he wants to keep.
Work have told me today they are sorting that teaching assistant course out for me so will have to start doing work and volunteering for that soon, should keep me busy.
Going to ring mil now and tell her to remind Dh to put her garden bin out tonight.SPC~12 ot 124

Evening!
Finished painting the woodwork in the new bedroom, yay!!! We are getting there, slowly.
Also been for a run with the dog (I'm trying to get fitter, with hopefully the added bonus of being able to eat lots and not put weight on). It was hot hot hot hot. it's been surreally got this afternoon, sort of tropical, damp, boiling.

Good news late yesterday! My little brother (who is bigger than me) and his lovely girlfriend became first-time parents yesterday. My newest niece was born a week early and on my brother's birthday - he is so chuffed:happyhear
My flying will be interspersed with online shopping for baby things...got sent a photo and she's uber scrummy. Mum looks a-m-a-zing in the photos too. So happy.0 -
Morning all
Congratulations auntie dizzy!!!! What lovely hews to start the weekend off.
Hugs good wishes and posi vibes where needed. I'll lob some sticks out at the bds snapping at some of the flylady heels in the hope they chase after them and leave you all alone.
There's also a pot of spoons on standby- help yourselves to those.
This mornings plan (haha yes I have a plan) clear the box we filled with carp last night and sort it into blackbag or recyclable. Nip up into attic and bring box of ornaments down so they can be sorted through as to what's back in here and what's going to the CS tomorrow morning.
Take the 5 bags of clothes/shoes I've sorted for the clothes bank down there.
Give the bathroom and kitchen a S&S and dyson through. Oh and I need to fit work in as well.
Have a lovely day all and I hope the weather holds for the weekend.SPC~12 ot 124
