  • Sorry to hear you've had bad news Raphael, I hope that is the last of it.

Dizzy, hope the nursery move goes smoothly and that little ones happier there. Glad you are seeming a bit more positive.

Thanks Honeybear, carpet fitters have just left, really pleased with the job they've done. I'm currently ironing Tshirts while listening to Frank turner. Positive songs for negative people album even makes ironing seem less of a chore. I am almost rediculously happy that I've managed to secure tickets to go to his next concert (using ds2 and dd1s birthdays as an excuse) so it's going to be a family outing lol.

Right I'll finish the n when ds1 is home I'll ask him to help me lug the bed bases back upstairs

My flying has been postponed, I've had some bad news.
Third piece of bad news this month, I'm so fed up, I've given up for the day.

Whatever your news is you have my sympathy and empathy, I have struggled to fly for the last few weeks because of setbacks

In from work, was going to cut grass but the sky's BLACK!

The sea fret is bad there sometimes, but today folks were sat on the beach / sea, it was that warm it was just out to sea the mist was.

Well the storm has reached us and its spectacular!

Happily college let out early so I was home before it all kicked off. Let's just say the garden won't need watering tomorrow

College was just the practicalities, sorting into groups and introductions etc. I have a small piece of homework :) my day in will be Wednesday's from next week and fits almost exactly inside school hours, with enough gap to get there and home - perfect!

Not much doing tonight, just looking out of the window and waiting for the kiddies to "need" me... ;)

  • Hi all,

Not much done. Paid stuff until late today, didn't get home until seven, then the storm started so had to watch that! Doggy was very anxious. She has only recently started being bothered by thunderstorms /fireworks etc. Not sure why it has suddenly started.
The storm turned the small leak (been on the Toots list for ages) in the conservatory into a very large leak. oh dear.

Dizzy a virtual but severe telling off to your OH. hope you are now all over it x

Glad college went well Bossy x

Sorry you have had bad news Raphael x
  • Hi all

Kitchen blitzed before work, floor scrubbed, units wiped down, surfaces polished and worktops cleaned properly. Two lots of paid stuff, chicken and veg for tea, one bike ride done. Remind me not to try and keep up with my seventeen y.o.! My legs hurt.

    Hugs Raphael x

Oh and a question about my kitchen cupboards. Some people put paper on the top. What should I use and how do I hold it down?

    Night all, see you tomorrow.
  • Morning all

Bleary eyed here. Our dog has kennel cough poor love, so I was up through the night trying to soothe her, we went to the vet yesterday and got some liquid to ease her throat. Kiddies up at 6am yaaawnnn...

Dentist for DS and I this morning. DD is dressing up today at school so must sort that now. I feel like I could sleep for a year

    Have lovely days all x

YL I fold sheets of newspaper to fit, if you don't store anything up there I would imagine a little dog of blutack in each corner would hold it in place.

Started putting stuff back in room last night, it's looking ok and new in wardrobe storage system went together and looks much better than we both expected.

Busy all day today so will catch up later plan is to have bedroom sorted by the weekend.

    Have a good day all.
