Morning all.
Hugs, sticks, spoons and vibes to all.
Dailies (except dishes again :rotfl:) done, laundry is under way (I think I have 7 loads today after stripping beds at the weekend) but there's rain due at 3pm so I'll be keeping a close eye on the weather. I'm also more or less set up to start work. I'm going to find something to watch online while I sort books out so that can load while I do the newsletters. Another busy day here so I best get moving. Hopefully I can get all the laundry done and my work and still squeeze in a shower before DD comes home. Catch you later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning!
Pretty warm already here. Mystery next door solved and all is well. Just having some breakfast then I'll crack on with the kitchen.
All organised for later, due to expected heatwave today, have been asked to send swimmies to friends where they are going after school - paddling pool fun is plannedthey will stay there until my stepdad can get here after work - rather messy babysitting arrangements but can't be helped this week and I'm rather grateful for them all pitching in at such short notice!
Given the downstairs loo a swish and swipe this morning after popping an overnight limescale tab in there last night. And washed some winter coats when we got up so I've just pegged those out. The ones we will most likely use. A couple are being donated and the rest into boxes in their wardrobes as they are a bit big and might do for next year (although probably more will turn up by then, lol)
Have a nice day, everyone xxBossymoo

Morning all.
No flying achieved yesterday because it took me nearly half an hour to get logged in to the charity's internet banking - I have this trouble every time and it is sooooo annoying! I did manage to do some reading for my course in the afternoon, when we finally got back from the Trustees' meeting, and went to the Old Wives' meeting in the evening.
Today I have
- checked personal finances
- finished the Minutes of yesterday's meeting and sent them off for approval
- started WMx1 which is almost ready to peg out
- been to SW and decluttered 7 lb this week - i.e all that I had put on during our week's holiday plus a good chunk more- and DH has also decluttered 2.5 lb since before the holiday
Now I must
- make some phonecalls
- send some more emails
- write birthday cards
- update church finance files
- prepare for a meeting with the church Treasurer this afternoon
- buy more food
- update my diary
- get DH to write his manifesto
- watch a video (college work!)
- do some more studying
- tidy and hoover enough downstairs that the house looks reasonably good when one of my friends comes round for a cuppa this evening - must get DH on the case! (he can do the hoovering)
Dizzy, you deserve a medal for each poorly person you have looked after x
(((Hugs))) sticks and spoons all round, as needed. Catch up later x0 -

My flying has been postponed, I've had some bad news.
Third piece of bad news this month, I'm so fed up, I've given up for the day.

Hugs Raphael hope that's the last of your bad news xxx life has a carpy way of flinging at us all at once xxx
Lots done here including leaving a note for babysitter, plus their tea and making room in fridge for it. Thankfully too hot for cooking so they can eat straight from the fridge
Kitchen sparkling and coats dried and brought in. Dining room is clean although a little cluttered. Bins are out for morning.
Had shower and need to dry my hair and collect then deposit kiddies.
Looking forward to getting back to school tonight:DBossymoo

Sorry to hear this Raphael - thinking of you x
Thanks for the virtual medals ladies, and for listening to me whingeing about DH (again). Feeling much better today and managed a trip to a preschool for a tour as I'm thinking of moving Tiny there. Nothing specifically wrong with the nursery he goes to, but he always seems to get upset when we drive into the car park. This new place is closer, has a better, more recent Ofstead report and feels more like a professional outfit, so subject to funds and notice on the other nursery, we will be swapping. He has a trial morning on Friday to see how he settles in. He made a new little friend while we were there today and they were playing in the kitchen corner making pretend pancakes, which was very sweet.
Can't do much flying outside of the caravan today as currently having a massive thunder (and lightning) storm. So much for the predicted scorcher! BigBoyDog is terrified, so managing a nine stone trembling, drooling and desperate "lap dog" at present. I might unflatten by tea time :rotfl:0 -
(((Hugs))) to Raphael.
Glad you're feeling better, Dizzy. Thanks for sending the storm over to us!
The Treasurer is unwell, so we have postponed our meeting and I have a bit more time for flying and studyingbut the preparation I did for the meeting is (thankfully) not wasted.
Off to dust everywhere downstairs and clean LR windows - inside only, with this downpour!0 -
Happy holibobs for Lynnejk and Lamewolf. I hope Narco's enjoying hers and anyone else having one.
(((Hugs))) Raphael.
I hope the bedroom being put back together goes quickly and smoothly, Mrs MP. You've worked so hard on it.
Dizzy, I honestly don't know how you cope! Caravans, big dogs, Small, Tiny and a DH who I am sure is lovely but goodness .... Wearing a nappy just about sums it up, doesn't it?
I had a farewell coffee with the person who introduced me to MSE about eight years ago when we were briefly neighbours. (She's off to live in Spain.) I'm so grateful to her because without her I honestly don't know how I would have learned how to Fly, and nor would I have ever been part of this fabulous online community. (((Hugs))) to all Flyladies - you're the best.
Level 1 okay, Level 2 already a bit challenging. I am determined to get through it all this week because I love it when the house looks as though someone cares about it.Better is good enough.0
