Good afternoon all
Good wishes to everyone. I hope you are having a peaceful day. The sun is shining here so I will be going for a walk along the beach in a few minutes.
Fuddle, have you thought of setting a timer for just five minutes and doing those things that need to be done then resting? When I have bad days, I use ad breaks to get a little done and of course it is a manageable chunk of time.
So, on my list of things today I have "prepare carrots and mushrooms for freezer". Yesterday I bought them and in the past I would have prepared them straightaway. Now I realise that shopping in itself is a huge anxiety for me and all I want/need is a cup of tea and a dark room. I think it's all the noise, colour, choice etc that I find overwhelming. I prepare a variety of veg for the freezer which allows me then to make a dish without too much extra work. This means I can have a decent meal even if I feel awful.
We find ways to cope with our situations but it really helps to have a thread like this as it often prompts rethinks about how we do things.
Have a good weekend, take care

Hi candygirl
It may sound daft but I haven't decided yet. I like being out here and the heat made a huge difference to my health but I still feel like I have unfinished business back in the UK.
I can be here alone until the beginning of April. I am using this time just to be. In all honesty it is escapism and I do have ties back in the UK, primarily my 92 year old mum. Mind you, I think she is fitter than me!
Where in Spain would you like to live? I have really enjoyed being close to the sea (about 15 mins driving) but I love being up in the mountains. I have spent time around Granada, Malaga and Alicante and each has its charm. I think what I would like to do is rent and be able to move around regularly.
Today has been difficult again as I am suffering horrendous nightmares so I am afraid to sleep and of course this makes a huge impact on my wellbeing. My fibro is playing up and I know what I should do (eat well and drink plenty) but I have felt dizzy.
Still it's a new week tomorrow and hopefully a weightloss. I can't notice any difference although a friend says there is a definite change. I carried 2kg of onions and 2kg of apples which felt heavy climbing the stairs so it must be helping - I have lost nearly double that.
Hope everyone has a good week

I've just been chatting to a friend, who lived in La Marina near Alicante, n she advised me to rent my house out here, n rent there when I finally decide to go.I'm not going anywhere while Mum's still here though x"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Good afternoon
Well another 2lb down which is good news but I have just noticed my major medication now includes sucrose. I have done really well losing all the artificial sweeteners and flavourings so I will have to ask if I can get the unsweetened type again.
I made a pork roast traybake last night which was scrumptious and hardly any effort involved. My hands are not working well and I dropped a plate. I am going to investigate a local spa that is offering a groupon deal - I am hoping the warmth would be beneficial.
Thinking of all the regular posters, take care

Sorry for going awol . By the time we got to dds appt last Friday she was barely able to function . Dr gave her a thorough examination and picked up the ominous crackles in her left lung along with both sinus and ear infections . He prescribed Doxycycline she's slightly better but having taken the last one today not clear of infection .
I'll be back either later tomorrow or Saturday .
I'm hoping you are all ok and Wolfy's meet and greet went well .I was sending the vibes .
Meanwhile if anyone has experience of the PIP 1043 form I would be grateful for feedback . We've just received one nearly a year before dds award expires and it needs to be back in 3 weeks .
I find it very vague and they don't want supporting letters from GPs sending . I've decided they'll get one anyway as he knows her as well as I do and if things go awry it could be useful .
Dd and I were only recently discussing the many up and downs of this year . We didn't see this one coming .
Anyway onwards and upwards . Take care all .

Hi everyone!
Sorry I've been MIA for a while. I'm not doing too great. Christmas is sorted and kids are fine. DH has gone back to work after his OP and has been doing great..... I just stopped functioning.
I had major panic attacks in the night and really exhausted. I'm back to not being able to sleep and it's really getting me down.
I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to Xmas. I will read back and catch up with people soon.

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!!
Kids had a great time and there is far too much chocolate as usual!
The tree is down and we will try and find a place for all the toys at some point
I have been missing quite a bit and struggling with my health a lot. I'm off work again and I'm seriously considering not going back. I'm not sure our finances would manage without some serious cut backs but we will sit and work things out.
I hope everyone is doing well and we can get this thread up and running again to help support each other and any new OS with health issues this year!
