Soworried thinking of you! It must be an awful stress just before Xmas too
LW I’m fine with needles now I never used to be but I get my full set of bloods done every 4 weeks and have my treatment via a drip so I’m pro now! Last time I had it I was walking away and there mustn’t have been enough pressure to stop the bleeding and my whole are was soaked in blood and it was like a zombie movie!! Baby wipe - new plaster and I was off!
Having a bit of a chill out morning today didn’t manage to get to the £££ shop yesterday so going to go on my way past today, I did manage to get my selection boxes from Mr T yesterday as they had them for £1 and I needed 8 so I’d been waiting in the offer coming along! Need money wallets and a few more presents then I’m done! Aiming to be done by 1st Dec then I can deal with the food!
It’s freezing today, kids have gone in to school as pudsey for CIN and then it’s swimming lessons tonight! Fridays are hard!!
Hope everyone is having a good Friday and looking forward to the weekend xxLiving the simple life0 -
Struggling really badly today with the pain.
I just have to keep thinking that the op will be before Christmas.
Tink I actually get worse as regards needles/blood. I only have to see a cut finger to come over faint.Big wuss, that's me.
Not very happy today; I needed to wash my hair AND get a large-ish shop from T£sco (£7 off £50 voucher) and I knew I'd only have the strength to do one of them. So the hair is having to wait til tomorrow.I hate bluddy lupus!

I had a migraine yesterday and I have been trying to write them down on my calendar and see if there is a pattern. I realised that I got a migraine 3 days after my period ended in September and now exactly the same in November. I will have to ask my GP what that might mean and what to do about it.
I read a bit yesterday and it said quite a lot of women have migraine because of hormones. One thing said it might be low iron? I might get some supplements to see if that helps.
God, how many vitamins do I have to take?!:rotfl:0 -
Wednesday (((gentle hug))) migraines are the absolute pits; I've suffered them for years, luckily not so much now as it used to be. I used to get at least one a week when I was married to the ex; stress related, methinks.
Good idea keeping a log of them to seek a pattern. I hope you can discover what your "trigger" is and thus get some relief.
Mr LW just informed me he's popping to @ldi to get some wine - so he's also been asked to pick up Qu0rn pieces, butter and cream while he's at it.This will at least partly make up for the bottle of sherry he snuck into the trolley in T£sco on Friday and left me to pay for.
:D

Just a quick catch up......will go back and read what I’ve missed properly later.
Wednesday migraines can definitely be hormone led, so a good idea to keep a diary and see if you can find a pattern. Both and my son had “teenage” migraines at around the age of 14, always hitting at around 4pm. They cleared in their own good time. We also found that skipping meals and getting too hungry were a trigger, as were certain types of motion......no fair ground rides or rollercoasters for me, bright lights in supermarkets and of course stress. Certain foods are also notorious for triggering them but also getting dehydrated can start me off.
At the first sign I drink as much water as I can and then go for a walk in the fresh air. That can be enough to deflect them.
For my fibro I am now trialling hemp oil, started yesterday. I’ll let you know how I get on. Have had bad IBS this week and leg pain so it’s worth a go.0 -
Strange. I had another session of EMDR today and I felt quite uplifted and relieved afterwards. I think I will write down how I feel each day until the session next week.Wednesday (((gentle hug))) migraines are the absolute pits; I've suffered them for years, luckily not so much now as it used to be. Yes, they can be related to stress.xxx A while back when I was worried about money I was getting one a week.lessonlearned wrote: »For my fibro I am now trialling hemp oil, started yesterday. I’ll let you know how I get on.
Oh yes, tell us.:)
I've stopped taking the CBD oil as the taste was making me gag! I don't know what to do with the rest, it seems a shame to bin it. I will probably hold onto it just in case I feel like taking it again.2025 GOALS

Wednesday just a thought, but when I've had vile tasting medicine to take, I've sucked an ice cube first; it sort of deadens the taste buds. Would that work with the CBD oil do you think? If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Really? Hmm, I might try it. I tried it in hot black coffee and it worked for a while, but then the oil floating on the top creeped me out.:D
I will go and fill up an ice cube tray and try it tomorrow.:) The CBD oil does make me feel less anxious definitely.2025 GOALS

Can you not mix it with a tiny bit of OJ and down it like a shot? Just to get it over with quickly xLiving the simple life0
