  • then why does toothsmith keep repeating that the taxpayer shouldnt pay for homeopathy but suggests that the tax payer should pay for allopathy?

Maybe because there is evidence that conventional medicine works but no evidence to support homeopathy?

The NHS has a limited budget and there are already restrictions on availability of drugs that do work. How can we justify wasting money on homeopathy?

Well there are well established methods for determining the efficacy of drugs. Homeopathy fails.
  • why are people so adamant on saying that homeopathy fails? fine I also have a statement

It's very simple, taxpayer pays for NHS. NHS should only use tested, economical, safe, efficable treatments. No matter what it is.

And that shows why the debate is pointless, because the supporters of homeopathy prefer unsubstantiated statements. There is evidence to support the use of conventional medicine. The supporters of homeopathy always fail to provide any evidence to support their claims.

But that's a false oxymoronic statement. Allopathy is by very definition efficable and tested. If it fails then again by definition it isn't allopathy. You've basically said "successful medicine fails".
