MS has just released another HUGE (332Mb) Win 10 update to fix a previous update that caused freezing !!
It should be available on Windows update or ..

And the eyePatch had one as well this week. It will soon go!0

There is a big problem with this update - it caused my laptop to freeze after installation and I needed to do a hard reboot to get round it !
So I would advise against installing it for the time being....0 -
Is this the anniversary update ?0

332MB is hardly MASSIVE/HUGE nowadays.0

True, but how big was the W10 Anniversary Update itself? I just know that I'd somehow used about 5 or 6GB already this month by the time the Anniversary Update took over my W10 machine yesterday morning (Sunday 4.9).Roland_Sausage wrote:332MB is hardly MASSIVE/HUGE nowadays.
I rarely use anywhere near 1GB/day normally.
How much of that 5 or 6GB would likely have been the install file for the main W10 Anniversary update?
Edit: I think I just answered my own question - the x64 iso file available for a manual upgrade looks to me like it is 4.1GB - anyone know different?0 -
It's only 330 MB if you haven't downloaded the previous updates. It's a cumulative update with all fixes since the version was released in August; most users will have a few of these fixes already, although this one does seem a big step up since the last one.MS has just released another HUGE (332Mb) Win 10 update to fix a previous update that caused freezing !!

But for comparison, for people with the 1511 version of Windows from last November, the x64 cumulative update is over 900MB if you haven't downloaded any previous updates.0 -
It will download as an ESD file which is more compressed than an ISO. I don't know the size but I'll bet less than 4GB.True, but how big was the W10 Anniversary Update itself? X64 ISO was 4.07Gb in file size
Which in itself is Humumgous !!0 -
If you use WSUS Offline update then you'll get fewer problematic updates.
It's not really the fault of Microsoft. You are supposed to read up on updates before using them.0
