Well, clearly you aren't any more, because the updates will install themselves whether you like it or not. There's no control for the average Windows 10 Home user.

Edited to add: when the first Windows 10 Cumulative Updates came out, Microsoft wouldn't even tell anyone what was in them (even corporate users, who understandably weren't happy at this). The info with the updates would just say they "fixed some problems" but there wasn't much more detail than that.

X64 ISO was 4.07Gb in file size
Which in itself is Humumgous !!

I don't really think that 4 GB (Not "Gb" which are 8 times smaller) is that big these days now that faster Internet connections are available.

Off-topic but I downloaded a game the other day and it was 20GB (with ADSL). The Anniversary Update was, of-course, a whole new build; best to be avoided as long as possible as there are always going to be bugs. It may be difficult to avoid if you have Windows 10 Home but setting up a metered wifi connection may postpone the day. And another reason for doing complete system backups (if you cannot revert back to previous build.)
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.

Sky broadband have a 25GB limit for their basic deals. So this takes up a significant chunk of your monthly allowance

If you use WSUS Offline update then you'll get fewer problematic updates.

Of course it is MS fault - they designed the OS
Do you really expect your Aunty to know the ins and outs of whether she should install an update (not that we have any choice with Win 10) and as for WSUS - Do you really think that Joe Bloggs will understand or be able to use that ?
MS have supposedly designed a USER FRIENDLY OS - which is supposed to work 100% of the time for 100% of users with minimum user intervention - sadly they have failed on every point !!

No - this is additional updates, since then - to rectify issues created by the anniversary update !!

    Thanks.
But I didn't get any notification for second update ?
Possible to force it manually ?
    Any major changes ?

I love Windows 10, I think its lighter and faster.
My friend runs a call center, I have advised him to upgrade to W10 and dual screen setup.
    It will be more productive.

    You bet correctly :)

But i do think that there are many happy users out there of W10 - Its just that the only ones making noise will be the ones who encounter problems. .
