From that useful article, it appears there is in fact only one way to stop the automatic upgrade in W10 Home Edition, and that's an inconvenient cheat, with the downsides that I guess it'll stop all important security updates too?
Is there a way to select updates you want to install and discard or ignore those you don't?
Not an easy way I am sure.
So the best you can do is artificially designate individual named WiFi networks as metered connections by the looks of it - if you log on to a new one and forget to label that too as metered then Microsoft will presumably immediately try to download (and then install on next startup from Standby or from scratch).
Have we got that right John Gray?0
