    No not ok today.

I've put on so much weight that the skirt I was going to wear to the Christmas Party tonight doesn't fit. It's far to tight.

I cried for nearly I solid hour and then on and off for another 30 mins!

I can't believe I have done this to myself!

Lucy, I haven't been posting much on this challenge (mainly because I'm doing crap and haven't lost anything at all, in fact have put about 3lbs on!), but I just wanted to send you a massive (((hug))), and tell you that I'm sure you will look beautiful no matter what you end up wearing to the party.

Thanks. My Mum actually said she prefers the jeans to the skirt!

I just can't bare to look in the mirror at the moment. As for doing crap.... in my house it's steaming!

But I want to try and look at it positively (if possible with tears streaming down your face!) I can either eat and it will get worse, or I can use this as a wake up call and challenge myself to be back into the skirt comfortably by my cousins 21st on 2nd Feb.

As for looking beautiful.... I'm having a free make over at Benefit tonight, so I know my make-up will look good!

There you go then - dry your eyes, put the kettle on and just relax and think positive thoughts. And when you do look in the mirror, stop looking for faults, and just notice the good things (even if you're feeling really down, I'm sure you will find something, even if it's only 'I have quite nice eyelashes'...lol).

Then tonight, enjoy your make over, get your jeans on, have a glass of wine, and you will be fine....better than fine in fact, you WILL be GREAT!

Sorry about the bossiness, but you're a star and I hate to think of you feeling so crappy about yourself.

Thank you! All bossiness is accepted ;)

I've alway rather like the little toe on my right foot personally :D

I think I have got stuck looking or seeing the faults and now I think negatively to. No one else will know it's the outfit I didn't want, so I just need to hold my head up (and dance off the calories!!)

I will try to not feel down about it, I promise.

  • Do give up totally but, enjoy your Christmas festiveties draw a line on them on New years day eve and start a fresh. i think if you don't have some of the things that relate to Christmas ie mince pies booze ect you'll feel so deprived you'll go OTT and be sooooo much worse off. Good luck with wait ever you do but, have a great Christmas.
