  • Ok Here goes, I weighed myself this morning so I know my starting weight is 9stone 1lb:eek:

This may not seem so bad to people but I am only 5ft and this is the heaviest I have ever been. I am normally just over 8 stone so I now feel very motivated to get back to this point. Also slightly gutted at how much I weigh!
  • LB moment for being overweight - trying to get back into my uniform after my road accident! Steroids and morphine managed to pile on just over 14 stone in less than a year! (not being able to walk added to this as well) I wouldn't have minded so much but I was just under 9 stone when I started so in 12 months I put on more than my body weight!

  • One of the things I have always been told to do (and never done!) is to write down how being over weight makes you feel, and then as you loose or drop a dress size to write down what that is like.

Like a diary type thing, where you can look back and remember why you are doing this.

I think sharing this is good, it's like therapy! Well done Dragon... It must be so hard, I've always been overweight so have no idea what I look like slim, I still look in the mirror and see 'fat' me!
