Hi everyone
I've been awol for quite a while and a lot has happened personally since I was last on here.
My toiletries are slowly going down, albeit not quickly enough (might help if I got myself into more of a routine lol) and am pleased that my using up is definitely more than my buying. In fact I have treated myself to a couple of new perfumes as a treat
I hope everyone is well and the UUs are happening on a regular basisDid owe £9,951.96

I'm having one of those no nights where you just feel gross and hugely unattractive. My pores look huge and horrible and my scalp itches. I accidentally decided to go at my skin with one of those comodone (so?) tools and I know in my heart they do sod all apart from make things worse. This was after a peel off mask as well! I've been way too rough with my face.0

That was meant to be a (sp?) as in I am not sure I spelt that right.
What do people do when they feel unattractive? Do you have a go to thing that makes you feel much better?0 -
Well Emma's gone to Uni now. Was a good day all in all. Got there for 9.00am. Room set up by 1.00pm. Following her registration we walked into Newcastle for 3.00pm reservation at Jamie's and then bought her some things we hadn't thought about (iron and chopping board). Was a bit emotional on the way home but am up and getting ready for our trip to York. 3 UUs this morning:-
Emma's Philosophy Peppermint Bark shower gel. Was only one squirt left so it's gone. Was lovely. WBA.
L'Occitane Verbena shampoo travel sized. Lovely but prefer the repairing one. Would use again if in GWP.
Tresemme conditioner. Think it was the moisture one. Don't have the packaging any more. Huge litre size bottle. WDNBA. The bottles are too cumbersome.

Since posting I have also UUed my Laura Geller oil Mattifying primer. Was disappointed by this in the end. It's in a squeeze tube. Git half way through and product stopped coming out. The consistency and effectiveness then changed as I had to cut the tube open. £25 is too much to pay for this product in its present packaging. Looking for new primer tomorrow.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Two UUs for me:
Vichy factor 50 suncream, this was a free sample. Too thick for daily use, took ages to rub in. WNB.
Garnier The Sleek Restorer coconut oil & cocoa bean shampoo. This was a 400ml bottle so should have lasted forever, but because the hole at the top is massive, I ended up using too much every time and got through it in two months. WNBA because of that.
I am nearly at the end of my last tube of Rimmel Stay Matte foundation which, because of a mixture of forgetfulness and special offers, I once had 6 tubes of. It is my HG foundation but all of the shops round here suddenly seem to have stopped stocking it. Trying to decide whether I rush out and buy 6 more tubes now, or just work through this last one and my inferior foundation stash and then start the search in a year's time. Probably the second . . .Houseplant26 wrote: »What do people do when they feel unattractive? Do you have a go to thing that makes you feel much better?
VALM glad the drop off went well.0 -
I have one super big skirt, I guess it's kind of swishy, more structured and you're so right I do feel good in it and heels! Huge clothes are fun! Sorry about my pore related pity party...
I have one UU one of those garnier ultimate blends. Condition for fragile hair and sensitive scalp. WBA was very nice and my hair did feel lovely and soft and scalp better on days after using it. However I bought a bottle of Treseme as it was on offer as an alternative for when this ran out. Not a huge one though agree with comments on them being a pain!0 -

Badly thought through packaging really irks me!! I have a balm cleanser that is really hard work as in a tube and it just makes me want to use my ones in pots. Speaking of I have two but my Emma Hardie one is about to run out and I may need to replace asap as I beyond love it. I think it's partly the smell bit it cheers me up and calms me down when I use it! Hot flannel after just bliss.0 -
I have a UU, Avon Techniques Radiant Brunette Daily Conditioning Mask. Only used this once a week as more of a treatment and my hair feels lovely after using it, so soft and shiny. Really sad as this has now been discontinued so need to try and find another nice hair treatment.Did owe £9,951.96
