Well done, latinaid:T
Surprise money is always the best kind:j0 -
Ooooh! Another unexpected bonus - £50.61 from a shares ISA. I don't even know how often it pays out - quarterly, I expect. It stems from ages ago when I re-mortgaged, and the adviser got me to do interest-only and put money away each month into this fund. I stopped doing it eventually, but kept the ISA hanging about, and it's been doing really well. I withdrew £10k to get my mortgage down last time I re-mortgaged, still have about £9k in there. I suppose I ought to have a look at it and see whether it's giving me a good rate of return, but I quite like the fact that I'm always taken by surprise when the pay-out arrives!
well done. interest rates have dropped across the board so you maybe getting the best rate out there.0 -
Well done on all your hard work everyone. I've been quiet for the past few days but now a few (small) harvests are coming home.
- sold something unexpectedly on Etsy last night, some vintage playing cards for £5. Sending them off to the Czech Rep so I'm not sure how much the postage will be so will update when I do.
- also got a random payout from a survey company as I'd reached their payout threshold: £17.25
- still waiting for my eBay buyer's echeque to clear so I can send her her item. Should be any day now
Enjoy this weather everyone (I'm going to try to get all my washing done - Old Style MSE!)

£14 from weighing some clothes in (Cash 4 Clothes I think it's called - there may be some similar names in your local area). These are all things that didn't sell on a few car boots.
Got a few bids on some ebay bits and hopefully someone is coming to collect an item from Gumtree later this week. Also got my Dad taking a few of my things when he does a car boot tomorrow.
Going to get on Valued Opinions, Toluna, Qmee, and everything else online that I've been neglecting, this weekend.

Just a quick question - we cancelled a Direct Debit that we no longer used/needed this month. Should I add this to September's total?0

Are you signed up for Prolific Academic surveys? They're probably mentioned in Aesop's introductory posts on the thread.
They are surveys conducted by academics and vary in value from a few pennies each to several pounds depending on the length. They are usually really interesting on a variety of unusual subjects and sometimes with fun tasks to do. Depending on how much your demographic is in demand they can be pretty lucrative. They're my best payers of all the survey sites I'm on. Places fill up very quickly so you have to be alert and log in frequently. They rarely send invitations out when a survey is available. The advantage of PA is that once you're accepted for the survey you don't get screened out after answering a whole lot of questions:j.0 -
So far today 10p from a survey.
That was all for today, just 10p.
This brings my total to £15.90 now.
