I also went to a free Heritage Weekend event yesterday - there's an old cottage which has a medieval wall-painting. It's privately owned, so hardly ever open to the public, and I've managed to miss it every time before, so I was thrilled to finally see it.
£30 Amazon voucher today from an online survey/market research which I don't even remember doing! So that was a lovely surprise! I try to save my Amazon vouchers to use when buying Christmas presents. (I always go through the Easyfundraising site so I get a bit of cashback for our local homeless charity which my son works for).
how lovely about the mediveval wall painting. love stuff like that. its fascinating.
what a great idea buying through a fundraising site. win win :T you get free pressies from surveys and stuff and the site gets some much needed money.0 -
Sold a couple of bits on Ebay this weekend for £10.05. And received the money for the research group surveys I did (turned out to be amazon vouchers though) so that's another £60
Also got rid of a load of my kids old stuff at my local NCT sale on Saturday, won't get the money through for a couple of weeks but I reckon it will be about £60. I won't count that until I get it though.

Evening all
Had a lovely e-mail from panel surveys manager today. I was doing a survey last Saturday and it froze on me. Sent them an email, detailing what had happened and where in the survey. One of the managers mailed me back to thank me for the info, told me it had been fixed but unfortunately the survey had now ended. However, he has added £1 to my balance for the inconvenience
Well - I'm packed and off up the wooden hill to try to grab a few hours zzzz. Will pop in if I get tinternet - otherwise back in a couple of weeks.
Hope you all make mega amounts whilst I'm sunning myself :rotfl:
Hasta luego

well done!!! have a lovely break x0 -
Lynne, I'm so sorry I couldn't get back online in time to wish you a Happy Holiday before you'd already left:o
Wishing you a wonderful and relaxing break anyway:beer:. Can't find a wine or sangria smilie so am sending you a San Miguel instead;).0 -
Things are slowing down to a trickle again, it always happens after a good start to the month:(. A lot of you are doing a lot better than me at the moment. Well done:beer:
Just been to post 2 books that I sold on Amazon last night. Not mega money but every little helps. Money should arrive by the weekend so will add it later.
Was going to spend a few hours today clearing out the last shed in the search for anything carbootable at the weekend but it will be like a sweatbox in there if the temperature hits the 29 degrees that's forecast:(. Might stay in the house with the fan on and try to get something listed on eBay. My last 2 things had no takers (although lots of watchers) by the close of the auctions:(. Think I'll stick to BIN from now on as similar items that I listed as BIN were snapped up. People could have bought them cheaper for the initial auction bid, I don't understand it:o0 -
Ooooh! Another unexpected bonus - £50.61 from a shares ISA. I don't even know how often it pays out - quarterly, I expect. It stems from ages ago when I re-mortgaged, and the adviser got me to do interest-only and put money away each month into this fund. I stopped doing it eventually, but kept the ISA hanging about, and it's been doing really well. I withdrew £10k to get my mortgage down last time I re-mortgaged, still have about £9k in there. I suppose I ought to have a look at it and see whether it's giving me a good rate of return, but I quite like the fact that I'm always taken by surprise when the pay-out arrives!0
