You have two options :
Follow the advice given by members who have given you their time to advise you about S75.
This gets you your money back.
Or do it your way and end up with nothing.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
Who said I wasn't claiming under S75, Mr Snappy?
And are you guaranteeing my claim will be accepted?0 -
Hi all,
Already tried the address! They moved years ago it seems and no further info after that. I'm gutted and cant quite believe all of this.0 -
I paid pat credit card and part on my debit card. Can I claim for a full refund?0

I am assuming you paid more that £100 on your credit card and the kitchen was less than £30,000. If so then "yes", you can claim a full refund from your credit card company. The term you want to use is a Section 75 claim. Read the links in post 8.0 -

To put it another way, just paying one pound by credit card is enough to ensure the cc co have responsibility under S75, but as you say, as long as the item purchased cost over £100 and under £30,000.0 -
I am in the trade and have been a customer of supply only kitchens for a number of years. I am shocked by recent events but do think we all need a little perspective.
Supply only kitchens was not a start up and close outfit trying to take people's money. Just have a look on the reviews on this very site spanning many years. Supply only kitchens supplied many hundreds of kitchens over nearly a decade. The customer service I received over the years was second to none. The quality they supplied was the best I have ever seen (and I have seen and fitted most), which is why I came back again and again. Perhaps this is why this business finally failed - they didn't take the more common poor quality high price route. I accept in the last stages the service was poor but with hindsight this must only be expected from a struggling business.
Regards 'the boss'. I happen to know they will lose everything. Don't assume they are sunning themselves in Spain at your expense! They put everything that they had into this business.
Regards the employees I too have spoken to one of them. Despite some of the malicious comments on this site I am told they will all be paid.
I now have to face one of my own customers, but I do so not with spite or anger at supply only kitchens or its owner, but rather great sadness that a seemingly successful business has gone bust and because of the inevitable fallout.0 -
It is easier to take a balanced view when you have been supplied with good kitchens in the past (and presumably made a profit on them?) but most of us on this forum have paid big money and received nothing! SOK may not always have been crooks but this year they have clearly been taking people's money to sustain their failing business with no realistic prospect of kitchens being supplied. Whether you consider that to be misguided, negligent or criminal is up to you.0

Afraid I'm leaning towards criminal after they took our money in April and never even started production. When I confronted her about it the week before they went bust, the boss out and out lied about who she was, lied that our kitchen existed, and lied that she'd arranged a delivery date for August.
Currently hoping she's sunning herself somewhere a lot hotter and further south than Spain!0
