They do strike off huge numbers, there are 174 pages of the naughty boys here

    Many have funny names.

I read that from your previous post.

What we are looking to see on the list is BWLEGAL, GLADSTONES and WRIGHT HASSALL.

Nobody can rest easy until these 3 years vanish

I seem to recall Wright Hassall have been celebrating that their 'firm' has been around for a hundred years. No chance they'll disappear, IMHO.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thank you guys. With us all writing to the SRA they must do something - it's worrying for me but to others who don't read these forums and the vulnerable it could be catastrophic.
Luksakura - I have received a reply to the letter on Legal Beagles, I'm Pinkychick16, it's pretty easy to find on there but if you can't see it I'll copy link for you. X

something - it's worrying for me but to others who don't read these forums and the vulnerable it could be catastrophic.

Pinky, we can only help those who help themselves. It is not only PPCs who rip people off, it is firms like Brighthouse, loan companies, sell your gold for a pittance shops, letting agents, travel agents, airlines, hire car companies, etc.

Before signing a contract you must read the small print.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • I now have a threatening reply from BW Legal stating they never received a reply from me (they did, I challenged everything they said courtesy of Legal Beagles) and the amount has now increased to £304. They are saying 'should this' get the court etc and threatening CCJ/bailiffs. My response will be short, I will enclose a copy of my letter and the tracking number stating exactly when they received it, and ask them to reply to MY letter before sending any more threatening letters. Any other pointers? They are unbelievable!!

Pinky, we all agree with you, BWLegal have generally become pests just like the phone scammers.
The more people who contact the SRA the better.

If everything they threaten and the sheer number of people they threaten gets to court, all it needs is few judges to put an alert out through their own system and BWLegal will be in trouble.

All we can do is wait to see what transpires. Scammers have a short lifespan and even quicker if the government gets involved.

You may care to email Theresa May as she is the new broom and from all accounts is not keen on scammers. I am doing just that with a copy to my local MP. Not only do we need real regulation but protection against scammers and in particular BWLegal

They are using the court system as their own personal cash cow

I'd be more than happy to email Theresa May and my local MP who actually stands up for his constuents! Any tips on a good one to send? :) (don't want to derail thread!)

I now have a threatening reply from BW Legal stating they never received a reply from me (they did, I challenged everything they said courtesy of Legal Beagles) and the amount has now increased to £304. Pinky, as I have said on other threads, BWLegal ARE the modern day Kray Twins and Peter Rackman.

A further complaint to the SRA is required with your comments above.

The time will come when the SRA wake up and realise it is BWLegal who are placing them in disrepute.

This current plague of locust BWLegal letters have yet to prove their validity in court and indeed they are being watched.
I suspect the courts have their eye on them as well.

All that is required is a few wins against BWLegal and their boring copy and paste threats will be broken.

I would imagine that BWLegal were not doing very well so they latched on to the parking industry as a cash cow, maybe at the time they did not realise that they got involved in a scam.

They cannot back out now .... greed will be their downfall

On their website they boast 24.000 claims in one month
    http://www.bwlegal.co.uk/

They fail to say how many times they won or lost ????

    They say ....
"Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in relation to consumer debt collection under registered number 619068

Authorised and Regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority under number 569773
Is it a fact that the SRA authorise these bullies ????

They refer to the CSA .. CAI .. ABFA .. SRA

Complaints to all these organisations are in order. Remember Wonga ...... the scam loan company who were fined £thousands for doing the same as BWLegal ?

The Wonga wings were clipped and it hurt them, so bad that who in their right mind would use Wonga again.

This is where BWLegal are heading ..... very foolish company

It is pure greed. They are a very unethical set up and the SRA should dump them ASAP as damage limitation. On the basis of selecting a solicitor, would you ever trust the SRA ??? when the likes of BWLegal are around ??

Sean Barton is the CEO of BWLegal. A man destined for self destruction

It is clear that BWLegal walked into this blindfolded and will suffer and damage their business. I am sure BWLegal will read this forum and the message to Sean Barton relates to the Parking Prankster

"BW Legal are therefore early contenders for The Prankster's "Most Incompetent Solicitors of The Year" annual award."
    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/search?q=bw+legal

So bring it on Sean Barton, let's see what the courts say about you, especially as you seem to specialise in pre POFA 2012 tickets from scammers .... who was the driver ? GUESS ???
