The nearest there is to what you've stated is a general assumption (but with quite a lot of exceptions) of a 2 year warranty period for new goods sold by traders.

That's a lot different to 6 years and nothing to do with private sales, so we're waiting eagerly for you to pinpoint your claim.

A selective and poorly edited (what exactly is an "Ecu regulation btw???) quote of a post where i was obviously disagreeing with you doesn't prove your point in any way.

If anything all it does is show that either:

you're intentionally distorting stuff to troll, or

your comprehension skills are so poor that you can't follow a few lines posted on a forum. In which case any hope you have of convincing us that you understand EU legislation or directives goes right out the window.
