    Interesting piece.

Surely the 6 yr warranty only applies to the 1st owner from new and not the second hand market.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

How... odd. No mention of these warranties NUH is claiming.

It doesn't even do that. Only one or two manufacturers offer a new-car warranty that long, and even they're so full of the usual caveats as to be not terribly useful once you get beyond three or four years.

Of course there is! People have rights in this country. You have a 6 year warranty on used cars from traders and a 6 month from private sellers. One of the only good things the eu did for us

    do you really believe that?

most new cars dont have 6 year warranties

You really do live in some sort of parallel universe.

Read my postings. I don’t need an alias, you wazzock.

You have an overactive imagination and you feed it with too many conspiracy theories.

Now, put on your tinfoil hat and trot off to your meeting of the Flat Earth Society. :grouphug:

But watch out for alien spacecraft and unicorns on the way.

    I think that "Newuserhere" means 6 months - not 6 years !!
And, even then - there are restrictions on a claim....

ITYM it's one more piece of proof that we didn't need to "take back control", since we were always capable of doing things for ourselves.

The EU has done many good things, but the CRA was what the kippers and Leaveunaians said was impossible.

It's common knowledge in the uk you have these rights.
There's a lot of "common knowledge" which is utterly incorrect, true.
