I bought some trainers and clothes from a lady's selling page on Facebook. I had to pay for the items upon delivery...I paid by cash.
When trying on the items, they were clearly not true to size and did not fit. I queried this with the seller and asked for a refund. All she is prepared to offer me is an exchange. The items I have do not come bigger so I can't exchange my current purchases for the same items but bigger.
There is nothing else I want that she is selling so am out of pocket.
Is there anything I can do to get my money back? Since my query, she has now updated her Facebook page to state she does not issue refunds and only exchanges. This was not on her page when I purchased the items from her.
I'm annoyed as the items are not true to size and are definitely smaller.
Thanks.

Is she running a business? You paid cash on the delivery to the courier??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I wouldn't know what size to mark them as if I were to sell them on eBay plus I doubt I would get the money back that I've paid for them..
The girl has a selling page on Facebook and she employs people to deliver the goods.0 -

What size are you ?
Are the trainers a little too small ? 1 size from 1 manufacturer isn't the same as another, is this the case ?0 -

Is the size not on the label in the trainer ?
How much are we talking about here ?
I'd only ever buy from a shop where I could try them on and not buy from a facebook seller unless I could try them out when I collected them.0 -
The clothes were for my 9 year old daughter. She usually wears age 10 and the clothes I bought for her were age 12-13 so I thought they would be plenty big enough. The trainers were advertised as a size 8 but the box said 41 (can't even get them on my feet). Some websites say a 41 is a 7, some say they are an 8.
I've wasted £40 which may not be much in some people's eyes but it is to me.0 -

Then she is running a business. The Consumer Rights Act applies.
Refer her to the following:

Do you have her physical address or just her name and Facebook details?0
