    Avant Credit.

i have a shocking credit history, i got 5 grand at 15% interest rate, yes, high but....

The maximum amount they would have given me was £12500.

Applied for the loan, 15 minutes later i was approved. At 12 that night the 5 grand was deposited in my account.

just needed my latest bank statement to prove my salary was truthful.

How did you get a 15% APR if they mention on their website a representative APR of 39.5%? No way someone with a bad credit history would get anywhere near 15%.

15% might be the flat rate, not the APR.

The best gift you can give your DD is to teach her how to budget.

If you haven't got it, you cannot give it and while it is nice to be able to help the offspring, getting into debt to do it is showing them that it is ok to be in debt if your really want something NOW. This is not a good lesson.

Tell your DD to rent for a while and while she does that, save the amount the loan would have cost you as suggested, she can save longer too and will have a bigger deposit overall.

If you take this loan, you will be digging yourself into an even deeper financial hole than the one you are already in. You will also teach your dd that what she wants, does not have to be worked for. Get your own financial affairs in order first, to carry on with your stated aim is lunacy.

My kids and grandkids want lots of things, incuding houses. They work for them. Occasionally I help them out, but from a position of financial strength, which has taken years of struggle to achieve. Example: last week my dgd's car gave up the ghost. She is a part-time chef on a limited income. I paid for another car and she signed-up to a Standing Order repayment to my bank of £50 per month. That way she avoids finance and possible loss of the car, if she defaults. EG2: dgs needed a hefty deposit for a flat last year. He repaid a loan from me within 3 months, via Standing Order. All my family have been brought up to realise that the things they need and/or want, have to be earned. They also know the difference between "need" and "want", a lesson that far too many people have never learned, which brought about the last Recession, in partnership with the banks and moneylenders who threw money at bad risks without thought.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.
  • I used ukcredit, they require a guarantor but its they gave me a much better rate than i nearly went for from Satsuma!

  • I wouldn't recommend you taking upon a loan, if you have a bad credit history! Neither would your bank, nor online providers. Avant Credit might let you take up a loan, however the interest would be too significant for you to even consider! DON'T DO IT!
Only morons start a business on a loan!
Our life is a loan received from death with sleep as the daily interest on this loan.
