Sammy, after sending in the paperwork, it took another week for my card. Haven't received the PIN yet, I expect it to take another week! Ha!

8 days from sending paperwork back till I got.my card, I've got now got online working, the app and Android pay. I've also done balence transfer request.

Just waiting for my pin now.

Finally my card arrived today, that's 25 days after application, now I cannot register for online banking until I ring them and register for telephone banking - its madness, they currently have an expected waiting time of 25 minutes for a call to be answered, can't imagine why:D, what is it 1988!!!

They really need to learn a lesson or two from their subsidiary First Direct.

Did anybody carry out a BT and it was done automatically or do you have to carry it out once your card comes regardless of what you put in application?

No just the card so far, just rang and they cannot register me for telephone banking because they don't have enough security questions they can ask me.:mad:

I have to attend with photo ID in branch so they can unlock the telephone banking (that I am not registered for...)

they also suggested this could be done by post - I don't think so.....

I done my BT once I got access to my online account.

I did my BT on a Sunday, about three days after getting the card. It went through about three days later.

Deviousimp and browneyone did you put BT down on your application? or left it blank and carried them out as you say once you had card etc
