I agree. I opted for 1st choice Family Portrait and 2nd choice kitesurfing. So they sent me a day out voucher which I dont want. A con to get you to pay for someone going with you .... a day out on your own isnt much fun... Ive said No thanks as I am not going to waste the phonecall on this one.£1000 in 100 days: £1314.02 27/07/2009 - 03/11/2009 (I am a week behind)0

You are better off phoning up to book your treat. That way, you can get the staff member to check what's available near you. This would help you avoid being sent a treat you didn't want.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

No necessarily, my mum did this & was told she would a get a voucher for a venue within her postcode HX3, for a manicure &, when the voucher arrived in the post, ended up with a facial over 50 miles away :mad:0 -
It sounds like a great offer, BUT when I checked it out, I found, that I had problems in submitting it....guess I need to wait and see, if they decide to send a voucher out.0

Hi
Got my Voucher and I called up and tried to book a manicure with Re-aqua in Sutton Coldfield and after checking with their head office i'm told i can't book the treat as Re-aqua have not agreed to take part in the promotion.
So i've called Nectar helpline and they are going to resend voucher with an alternative supplier, don't know if this will be local or not, will have to wait 7 days until voucher arrives and see.
Bit disappointed.0 -
I think that it is one big con too. I tried to book the White Water Rafting treat, I wasn't given an option for a second choice and I didn't have to specify a location either. Guess what - I got an email saying that they 'were unable to offer me my chosen treat' and so they gave me a voucher for a Day Out instead.
Which does beg the question, why offer all of these choices if they can't honour hardly any of them? Its all a big big con in my opinion.0 -
I had no problem booking my treat. I get my 30 minute back massage tomorrow, and I don't even have to leave home. They are coming to me.
Thank you Nectar.:D0 -
I too was sent a Day Out Voucher instead of either my first or second choices. When I phoned to ask for an alternative treat, they just took my phone number and said would call me back. They haven't called. Why couldn't they deal with it when I phoned in the first place?MattEMulsion wrote: »I think that it is one big con too. So basically the treats arent free you have to phone a premium rate number to claim, there had to be a catch somewhere, no wonder the online form doesnt work.

I have discussed the problems you have experienced while trying to book your free treat online with our IT team and they are unaware of any problems being experienced by other collectors. In order for us to look into this matter, could you please confirm the error message given and at what stage the problem is experienced.
(yeah right a few people here have had problems... please email them and make them aware how big the problem is in booking)0
