Applied to work 3 days immediately following the ceremony job. Will see if anything comes of it. I would be living in a tent for 3 nights, so it would also be fun. It is at a festival, I am not having to go live on a roundabout or anything.Did the food shop - sub £60 for the week.Have not put on any weight. Have not lost any either, but still!Tomatoes all over the place outside. Apple crumbles all over the place inside. Threw my yellow courgettes and purple beans into a miso noodle soup last night - DS4 likes MY courgettes, it is a new occurrence.Sewed the school badge onto a slightly larger blazer - next size up, school returns on Wednesday and I have had sixty-squillion emails telling me the gates will open at 10.20 and will be RELOCKED again at 10.30, and will reopen at 8.20 on Thursday and will be RELOCKED at 8.30. For goodness sake! I feel the return of the sock monitor is imminent. Do they honestly have nothing better to do ?? And as for sending emails on a Saturday, and again on a Sunday - pah! 10 months until that school is in the rear view mirror forever. I cannot wait.Today I got lots of emails telling me C-word is 4 months away and will be here in no time ....... well, I haven't got plans to put my tree up yet, so they can get in the bin.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

I finished the original job on Thursday, but got the other job which started on the Friday, did the job, camped in a tent and had a fantastic time. I also saw a racist roundabout in Ollerton, I was a bit shocked, but it still looked rubbish. Then back to reality. Boo!Saw my first mince pies in the supermarket today - they would be a bit stale by December though, so I left them behind. They have probably sold out by nowSaw the widow of my volunteer friend today. Poor love.

Bit chilly here today, wearing a jumper! Can't remember the last time I did that. I have made 2 soups this week already. The weather really feels on the turn, but then again I was wandering around at 11pm in a tshirt at the weekend, looking at the stars and moon, and not being in the slightest bit cold. We are on the cusp.Going to go volunteer today.Workplace 1 expenses submitted on the Thursday night, because I was in a field by 8.30am on Friday. They will be paid next Tuesday. Rather in my bank than their bank.Monitoring the workplace 2 jobs page - I know there are some Nov/Dec/Jan graduations which will be advertised soonish.HMRC have changed my tax status (boo!) even though I will (probably) earn less than is required to pay tax - 3 employers now, they will not review it until April, I am treating it as a zero interest piggy bank. It will come back to me.Shunted £1k into the ISA - 19 left to go. My SiPP is at 9% return. 9% of not a lot, but it will grow.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Another week booked in for November! But no job details (or hotel details) for the job in 7 days time.Thought I would see what festive offerings the supermarkets will provide for 2025 because the vegan options are disappearing fast off the supermarket shelves - so they can reappear as NEW! for Jan/Veganuary, it happens every year.So far only Wait)Rose have admitted anything ....
Emily Quinn, Chilled Vegetarian & Vegan Buyer comments, “Nothing says Christmas like cauliflower cheese.
Well, I think Emily needs to get out more! I am surprised they did not just come out and say 'The jewel in the crown of the festive feast has always been The Humble Carrot, so this year, we have put carrots in a bag for you to carry more easily on your vegetarian/vegan journey home. It's what JC would've wanted, in fact historians believe Joseph, Mary, and the wee donkey, happily chomped down on carrots while the manger was in alternative use!"Mice pies (squeak!), christmas puddings, advent calendars, gold coins, all available in prominent positions at the supermarket. Carrots obviously less so.Have a lovely weekend! I am working away all next week, in a mobile/www deadzone. See you on the other side.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Well done on the new work & the weight loss! Amazing
just wondering on that WiFi mirror - can you not see in it til you turn the WiFi on? Do you have to say ‘let there be light!’ before you can see yourself ?
Your to do lists are v impressive - looking after that many men - brave woman !DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

You could turn the light on round the mirror and control the brightness by your phone. .... while you stand 50cm in front of it holding your phone..... 📱 above a sink .... what could possibly go wrong!
