Currently pensions don't fall into IHT but in the small print they said they would at some point in the future. Until there is more detail then who knows? I can't remember if USS has minimum payment period or if you have made AVCs (I hope so or my boys get nothing out of my USS or mine and their late fathers transferred to PPF contributions). It'll depend on the wording like everything. For my boys and our house and my pension pot and depending on circumstances  could push them into IT. Worth keeping an eye on.

I don't count DH as a relative 🤣, and the rest of my blood relations wouldn't give me the time of day.

The break was fab, long walks, much complaining about long walks,  a happy half hour playing 2p slot machines, coffee, beaches, and sunshine.  Lots of exploring.
All the kids wanted to come with me, and it meant I didn't sit home at night and fret about DH and him being in America with a seriously dodgy knee. We came 4th out of 12 in a pub quiz ( me DS1 and DS3 - the other two stayed with their computers in their rooms)
He is ringing his doctor on Thursday. He can't go on like this. He is very upset about the budget. The sector is screwed - in his opinion.

My pathetic £50 win is dropping me down.  At one point last year I actually made 6%.  Still as they say speculate to accumulate.  I want that million.  Yes I know never going to happen.  I am just grateful that although I am not lucky I am not unlucky either.  Well unless you count the 2 I have from 1957.  Still as I had kept them updated they did make opening the online account with NS&I easier.  I'll count that as a win.

FiL cannot fill his PB account as he has an odd number from before the minimum £25 stake, and they will not let him backfill his c £11 .  It annoys him more than it really should but is very funny. He is convinced those missing bonds are the winning million £ ones 🤣🤣
Nothing won for either of the kids' £150 of bonds ( they still think it is a scam) .
