I am neglecting poor DH something terrible, but he knows where I am and what I am doing, so really he is hiding from helping.  His choice,  It is not his thing. I refuse to feel guilty.

Breakfast coffee and cake was very nice, just me and DS3 (aka The Man  (he reckons), wait until he gets a splinter or nosebleed) who is now thinking about a moped license - until he realised he would be limited to 26 mph.

In a bizarre turn of events DS1 is loving his 3 day a week online cyber-security course, and has regained his ability to speak.  He came out of his bedroom after his lesson at 4pm, and spent the rest of the night talking to me.  Following me around every room talking to me.  Who knew all it would take would be a blue wall? He is talking about having a rug in his room (he hasn't got a bed yet!)

DS2 has signed on and is looking at .....  book-keeping courses .... (???)

Kick-off today is at 12.30 which is annoying.  Early matches mean an early lunch which only gives you 3 hours to do things and you are always clock watching.  Then you have to get going again afterwards.  First world problems eh?

DS3's passport application has been paused while I get someone to verify his identity - it is a renewal of his passport, he has not moved house, he has not changed names, he is 5 years older and still has the same face.  It is demonstrably him, but still, I needed someone to verify him.  Found a friend on FB who says she will do it for me. She believes he is who I say he is.  I am well known for going around robbing any kid with a tinge of the ginge off the street to add to my collection (not!)

In horrifying news, was talking to the people in the halfway house yesterday and they have bedbugs!  Urgh, does not even bear thinking of. It makes me itch even typing it.  Anyway, they have been given a month's reprieve to find somewhere else.  The company who run the assisted living rehab bit ( very famous on Jeremy Kyle) are cutting all their residential services.  That is a HUGE problem coming down the line.  I assume the landlords have all put up their rents on their interest only mortgages, and so they can no longer financially justify the expense.  Huge implications for the NHS too, if the private sector is pulling out.   Madness.  Can we have an election now please? before they break anything else would be good.

In financial news, I am back up to £80k in the bank, even after this month's expenses and credit card bills are paid.

In weight loss news, I am somehow down to 12.6 so will keep on until I get back into the 11s (tentative goal by the end of February?)

I hear DH moving about in the bedroom, so I can go and get dressed into my paint splattered gear again and knock some of these jobs off the list.

Tell DS2 accountants are better paid & the work tends to be easier.  As in he can work from home for himself when qualified.  Tends to be logic though not maths.  I've done bookkeeping self employed & you just land up working for much less & often for accountants.  I've even generated a companies books from just their bank statements but I am prepared to bet they paid the accountant multiple times what the accountant paid me.

S*d's law that she has turned up like a bad penny, and just when you are getting things in order with your lovely house and family.  I really hope you can de-stress and dismiss her from your life.  If she can make you feel sick and anxious I'd say she sounds like bad karma.  Look after yourself, you're the important one and the glue keeping your family together.  I also thought she might have heard about your inheritance xx
