Unlucky floss, looks like you're a convert. Presumably this means you now have to shave your head and wear a habit :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW Nerd #4910

Great I am a wart - how depressing
*considers going on a posting rampage to get another star up*
The forum I am admin on, we use the Vbulletin software and we allow our users to put thier own title under their username (within reason of course)
It is easy to do, maybe this would be a better idea. Then if people want to be warts or geeks then they can choose to be
I used to co-admin on a huge forum over 20,000 members and it was hard enough keeping an eye on sigs, spammers and general moderating without worrying about what people are titling thereselves. We got round it as a reward for over 10,000 posts you could email admin and only admin were allowed to change the title unless you were a moderator and you had to keep forum moderator as your title.
I set my own forum up and had the titling problem mine was a parenting one so I just went from embryo, foetus, newborn etc etc I don't see anythign wrong with the old or new names I don't really notice them my only criticism would be that both old and new were a bit on the lengthy side so the box looks cluttered.0 -
but another star would make you a nerd...
On DFW anyone could apply to be one of Southern Scouser's 'NERDS'. Now even that coveted 'award' has been taken away. :mad:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
