  • Hey all, things have been pretty quiet for me over the couple of weeks, almost too quiet. Sppoky.

Think my next concern is whether the creditors agree to a DMP. Also my bank account has an overdraft. The fee is due on 9th Dec. Im now having my wages paid into a new account so there wont be anything in the old account to cover it. resulting in me getting a further charges i'm sure.

Hiya. Does your bank account have a significant overdraft? I'm just a little worried that if you don't have the money in there to pay the overdraft fee and they notice that there are no longer any regular payments going into the account, they may ask for immediate repayment of the overdrawn amount? Maybe someone on here with better knowledge than me can say for sure?

You seem to be doing really well from the early days and I hope you're settling into a new routine of earning lots and spending very little! It does get easier with practice, honest ;)

  • Overdraft is £2150, so yes pretty significant :D
  • Hi debtman, I've been lurking on these boards for a while now, and I'm in pretty much the same situation as you, posted my stuff off to CCCS last week. Things can only get better!
With regard to your o/d, i've got one too, i've just counted it as another debt, opened a new account at the coop. The !!!!!!s (halifax) froze it straight away after i called there loans dept to tell them about my dmp.
  • I have included it into my DMP so i just hope CCCS will contact them in time. I did offer to speak the Lloyds direct about my OD but CCCS said not to.
  • Debtman, reading your story it could be me. Same situ as you and I am just about to make my second payment to cccs. good luck.
