Afternoon folks
I've just spent a frustrating 20 mins or so trying to make up an order for delivery from Mr T. They keep dropping items from their on-line store, especially the larger sizes of things (which are usually cheaper) and some things altogether.
I tend to have an order from them every 2/3 weeks as I get their e/d sparkling water (17p for 2 litres) and other 'heavy' stuff to save DH carrying it.
However, after checking prices on mysupermarket I have decided to go to Morrys and get the things I need. I'll help with the carrying and so Mr T order cancelled !!
Another NSD here today :j but definitely shopping t/m
Hope you all having a great weekend

So - food shop done ✅ I've missed a few items so will get them tomorrow or Monday.
£27.86 spent in Aldi
£19.27 spent in Lidl
£17.90 spent in Asda
So that's £65.03/£250 - pretty pleased with that. We need to go to the butchers but that'll be a job for Monday.
Now off to update sigFebruary Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
NST no. NSD 4/150 -
First spends of the month today.
Got 6 packs of veggie sausages, a huge takeaway style pizza (that's taking up about half the freezer!), cheese, milk, bread, some veg, rice, yoghurt, vinegar, shower gel and some sweets. Had coupons for the sausages, pizza and cheese, and got cashback on the yoghurt, shower gel and pizza so total spends so far:
£6.70/£40Mortgage received 21/12/2018
Mortgage at start - £261,980
Current mortgage - £260,276
Saving towards a loft conversion first, then to smash the mortgage down!0 -
I haven't updated so far this month, but we have spent a grand total of £11.90 so far (£411.36 since the first of August)
I am really quite partial to the ww bbq crisps and the jellies/yogurt softies. I also got a few of the chocolate bars when I was at my meeting on Thursday. I don't often eat them, but I like to have a few things in just in case.
If anyone else is following ww the Tesco value caramel wafers are 4sp and only 40-odd pence per packet.
We're having a BBQ tomorrow and will need some milk as well as meat and burger thins and salad, so will have spends then but today and yesterday have been NSDs when it comes to groceries. We spent yesterday at the Natural History Museum so made a donation of £10 to get in (but were there for hours). We then had a meal out, but this came out of a different budget. And, let me tell you, after a few weeks of ww, the pecan pie with vanilla ice cream was worth every single penny :rotfl:
We have enough preprepared meals in the freezer (steak pie, beef stew, chicken paella, Bolognese) and other meat/fish/accompaniements to make another about 55 meals.
We will also need to purchase some more bacon medallions and thins for breakfast.
Since my last update, I tried to order some of the prosecco from Sainsburys. My order came to just over £60 (£42 after discount). As we mainly shop in aldi, I stocked up on bits and pieces that I can't get there - dishwasher salt, scourer brush heads and 5 large bottles of fairy fabric conditioner. The prosecco was out of stock (and was given no alternative) but got the whole lot of shopping for just over £11. Bit annoyed about the prosecco, but well chuffed that I still got the discount
I also took my daughter blackberry picking. Whilst there, I noticed that we also have crab apple trees, sloes and rosehips (amongst others) in plentiful supply around here so I reckon that Jam and Jellies will be the order of the day - it will use up the sugar that we have in and can always give as little mindings. Plus, it's something fun for her! Today, we mixed some with yogurt and have made frozen yogurt as a treat instead of ice cream.0 -
£7.80 spent today on coffee/milk/newspapers.All that clutter used to be money0

Supermarket delivery £44.47 and vegbox £10.45 giving September total so far £54.92.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0

1st NSD of the month today. I have done a full inventory of freezer, fridge and cupboard and I have done my meal plan and shopping list for next week. It's strange, even through I feel like there is not much food in the house in reality there is loads. Hoping for a record low on the spending front and to use up food from my stores to help me.October 2016 Grocery Challenge £76.11/250/
September 2016 Grocery Challenge £252,10/250/
August 2016 Grocery Challenge £241.89/250/
NSD September: 120 -
Evening everyone, shop today was just under £60, few extras and lazy dinner for tonight. Basically shove in the oven stuff..yip.
I did put a post last week on the aldi /lidl thread saying there ice cream cones etc were half price went in today not much left try to stick to shopping once a week. They had organic ice cream 2 tubs for £2.00 and nearly all other ice creams half price, they had other organic products on offer to incase others interested. Sorry lidl just to let people know.
My youngest dd loves lidl doughnut nectarines no sign this week of them, she was telling her friends about them !!. So normal nectarines and doughnut peaches as normal along with the other requested fruits.0
