Luckily the delivery men were very helpful and my new fridge freezer arrived an hour ago, only another 3 hours until I can turn it on. I had run most of the stuff down in the freezer but I am going to use the next couple of days to eat up the rest and then I can start again with bulk cooking. Small top up shop today and then a bigger one maybe on Monday.

Monotony is setting in big style here. I think I am likely to be in this situation for a few months yet so I need to think of different things to do. I had a meet up with some of girl friends online last night and most of them are really enjoying lockdown as they all have company. They are getting on with decorating or gardening but I can't really do either as I need to wait for trades people first. I am going to work out what I can do in the garden to try and give me some focus.
I have some bulbs and seeds to put in the garden but I don't have any tags etc to show where I have put them. I will see where is selling them nearby but I still have in my head that they aren't essential so I shouldn't go out for them.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Miserable day today so I am having to raincheck my plans. I was going to stop putting off going outside on my bike but I don't want to get soaked (it is meant to be enjoyable afterall) so I have a podcast ready and am heading on the turbo trainer for half an hour. If the roads clear up later I will go out for a really short ride, I am trying to build my confidence up so even if it is only 20 minutes I am going to try and go out every day. Gardening also looks like it will be on hold for today but I might put my waterproofs on and go out for a walk, I hate staying inside. I went on a lovely 2 hour walk on new paths to me yesterday, all still in walking distance from my house and saw some lovely views. My kitchen and bathroom need cleaning as they haven't been done this week so I guess I have no excuse now.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Forced myself out on my bike today, 20 minutes up and down my cul-de-sac practising stopping and starting a bit like I did when I first started riding years ago. I was doing well so decided to do a loop around the estate but forgot just how hilly it is so gave up part way up a long incline pushed my bike back down and then did a couple more loops of my road. I went for a long walk after to calm my nerves down. So long as it isn't raining or too wet first thing tomorrow I am going to head straight out so I can't get worked up about it through the morning like I did today. I have planned a 2 mile loop that only goes on shared footpaths and very quiet roads where I might only need to stop a couple of times for roads, theory is it should be quiet enough not to worry about this.

The weather hasn't been kind to me this morning so I will have to head out on my bike later.I was sure I had closed that savings account down last week (said it would take up to 3 days) but it hadn't closed yesterday so I actioned it again. The other ones have been quicker to do so I don't know if it is just a backlog with banking people, I might have to send an email through internet banking to check.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Paused my $ky sports saving me £18 a month until they resume again, I really should have done this when they first advertised it at the start of lockdown. I am sure I can probably shave more off this bill but need to do a little research, it is the only one I haven't reviewed recently.I tried the heating company I am waiting to send me a quote on the off chance but they are working but no one answered the phone so I guess not. Hopefully once things open up I shouldn't have to wait too long for the quote.I am really bored but unsure what I want to, I guess I just want some company to break up the monotony of my day. I have been on a few video calls recently listening to some of my friends saying how much they are enjoying lockdown and how they are grateful for so many things they have done, apart from saving money I can't think of any benefits from this yet.Tuesday's are normally filled with work masterclasses and a meeting but the masterclasses are having a break and our meeting has moved to tomorrow. I have already cleaned the bedrooms as I lost motivation to practice so thought I would do something different for a while, now they are organised it took less then 15 minutes to dust and vacuum all 3.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

On the plant labels I got mine from Am****. I'd trade you my kids for some alone time right now. With 4 of us at home I feel I am being badgered at least every 15 minutes! I think a lot of people are finding it hard right now - whether on their own at home or with others just for opposite reasons!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I ended up buying some plant labels today along with a blackberry, blackcurrant and gooseberry bush and 2 perennials. It is meant to be a nice day here and seeing as I can't go for a long walk due to my work meeting I am going to plant those and the seeds and bulbs I have recently bought. The perennials will go in permanent places, the bulbs will hopefully be planted in places they will stay and the fruit bushes will be going in the same patch of garden as the rhubarb which will eventually be turned over to something else but I have nowhere else to put them. I will try and plant them in a way that they can stay if possible.Today's supermarket shop was fairly costly but I have bought a lot of meat and the plants add to the total.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
