Project Mortgage Neutral Begins

Organisation at work is starting to get to a good level while not being obsessive. I have sorted my locker out, there is still more that can be done with a couple of things but they can wait. I have now started on my email folders, there is so much that I could probably delete and never worry about but I keep thinking what if. I have allocated some time next week to do it in manageable chunks and hope to finish it by the end of the week. I will then go back to the locker and finish some dated paperwork and uniforms, then it is just a case of keeping on top of it but I have made some huge progress this week. I seem to have found a new understanding of delegation and not taking everything on myself so need to allocate some specific jobs out and timescales for work to be done while working out while my tasks fit in.The work stuff has been annoying me for a while and it feels good to be getting to a point where it is not overwhelming me. I need to get back to finishing off some things in the house that have been frustrating me or creating stress, I have made a good start but as always I have left silly little things that probably won't take long to sort out. I have an extended weekend off work in 2 weeks time so am earmarking that as my deadline, the more I do earlier the better as I can enjoy the time off instead.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

There is a definite chill in the air now. I am going to try and wait until the clocks change to put the heating on but I'm not sure I will be able to wait for that long, especially with the amount I am swimming outside. There is frost on the ground this morning and I am swimming at 9 so it could be fairly cld to walk along the beach. I have a busy day ahead, probably added too much in and not necessarily with things I want to achieve but I aim to calm it all down by this evening.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

No heating here unless it is really cold until December but we do turn the range on next month. In the meantime it is cat on the legs, thick jumpers and an oil-filled radiator under the study desk and in the bathroom.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Today has been such a productive day, I am making the most of extra time to do stuff. I have cleaned the oven, hob and cooker hood (all by about 9am) although the latter is still very greasy so will be done again soon, cut the grass and restarted my run walk programme. Off into Edinburgh to help ex sort out his flute and we are grabbing lunch on the way back, if I am back early enough and the productive streak continues I will try and vacuum my car too.

How lovely to get an unexpected day off - even if it is due to something negative. I would be kind to yourself and use the heating when you need to. You can afford it and sometimes you just have to look after yourself - particularly when you've been outdoor swimming.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have been trying to have a look at different options for my tv and broadband today but the $ky website is now going very slowly and I can't get back in to see the projected bill payments but it looks like they are going to go above £100 at the next bill which I am not prepared to pay. I understand everyone is working differently at the moment but it seems impossible to talk to someone on online help or to find a phone number which is very frustrating.
