That really, really winds me up too!!!
EXACTLY the same thing happened a while ago in a FB comp by The Range to win a barbecue. The task was to answer a question. But, surprise surprise, someone I'm sure we're all familiar with entered with a wacky zany photo (which they'd already used in numerous other BBQ comps) and was selected as the winner.
It's not fair towards the people who follow the competition rules.
why cant she do that? adding a photo is against the rules? be happy for her, shes done nothing wrong.0 -

I agree she can add a photo if she wants, and no it's not against the rules.
The point I was making was that entrants were required to answer a question to enter the comp. It wasn't a photography competition. But like the Aldi comp mentioned above, it can't be a coincidence that the winning entry happened to be a humourous staged photo. If they'd said in the rules "enter by submitting a funny/creative photo" then the other thousands of people, who all followed the rules, might have stood more of a chance.0 -

Comp on Facebook today asking to state the first thing you would sew if you won a sewing machine. After putting that I would like to make some new curtains I then looked at the other entries.......
A lap quilt for my mum who has just had her leg amputated.
Angel gowns for babies born with wings
I would make a nice memory bag for my friend whose husband is dying.
A weighted blanket for my friends autistic daughter to help her sleep
A memory blanket. I lost my very close Aunty in November
Three memory bears for me and my two sisters out of our late dads shirts
Babies born with wings!!?? Somehow I don't think I stand much of a chance with that lot! :rotfl:0
