Tomcats have spikes on their penis.
Cats stop meowing after they are kittens but will then only meow at humans once adult and not to other cats.
Cats can't taste sweet things.
A cat is more likely to have less/no injuries from a higher fall than from a lower fall, eg from say a 20 storey building than a 5 storey building.0 -
My cat eats chili-con-carne and chicken curry. Yet wont touch roast chicken or fish. Seems he is partial to hot and spicy food.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
My cat doesn't drink much water, the vet said she would be more concerned if she did.
She does drink rainwater occasionally, I think every cat I have ever had did the same. I understand it is more palatable than tap water.
I cooked some some steak recently and offered her some bits. She sniffed it delicately, walked round it, played with it then begrudgingly ate it. Next time I offered her some raw bits, this time they didn't touch the sides:D.
There's a moral there, cats prefer their meat raw:rotfl:0 -

I have bought raw cat food for mine - they wolfed down the chicken one but were not so keen on the duck. It's very expensive though!
Cats generally don't need extra water if they are on a predominantly wet food diet. Cats on a predominantly dry food diet will need extra water.ENFP - AssertiveOfficially in a clique of idiotsSmoke me a kipper; I'll be back for breakfast0 -

The problem here is that they do. They enjoy the sweet taste - but it is poisonous to them, and not a nice death either.
Too many cases of cat haters, using it to kill the neighbouring cats!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
My cats don't like to be stereotyped so try their hardest to defy all the cat rules.
Their water bowls are right next to their food and they've never complained, although when they drink water it's usually to make a passive aggressive statement about how their food bowl is empty and they're starving to death and trying to get what little sustenance they can from tap water.
