Does he drink? If so, how about craft/real ale? Aldi tend to have a good selection for a reasonable price. You could definitely get 3, possibly 4 for £5.

Lidl are doing their own label bottles for £1.19 ish a bottle at the moment. No idea what they're like but I did buy one to try myself at the weekend! decent range from as "real" lager through to the Porter I got.

  • Morning,

I officially hate December this year, I need another week in between now and when I finish.

I'm going Christmas shopping today, as this is the only day I have spare....I need to buy the kids and the rest of the family and stocking stuff for the kids too AND my secret Santa too.

Then rush back home so we can go food shopping.

    On the house front:
4 viewings here yesterday and one on Friday.
    House hunting:
Saw loads of houses yesterday, some not great, one was perfect but shared drive, one had a stash of !!!!!! DVDs on his bed so we just walked away from that one. In the end, we narrowed it down to two houses we like.

Just need a buyer for this place, then we can do something.

On the upside, I get paid on the 21st :)

My mum & stepdad are coming down to visit next Friday to Sunday, we've an open house on the Saturday, so we're taking them out for the day.

On the money side of things.....not doing great. Too much rushing about has resulted in being too tired to do anything.

Once everything is done and sorted and I can finally relax, then I get to work on the money saving and where we are.

Stop the world I want to get off!!!

    Evening,

    Busy, busy day today.

I have shopped until I dropped and I still missed my lovely friend & his wife :( came home and went to Tesco for half of the Christmas food shop and the rest of the weekly shop.

I need to wrap my mums and my stepdads presents this week and write cards.

Hubby is out Friday night and I'm out with my old company for a catch up (the one before the temp one), so will be a busy week I think.

Apart from that, nothing much has happened

Forgot to mention, I got my Secret Santa....how to play a harmonica with instructions £4 from The Works....result!!!!
