  • Afternoon,

Did a check of the bank account and moved some money to cover what is coming out over the next few days.

There are two last payments and they come out on pay day :)

There should be enough in the online saver to cover the first gas and electric bill for the new house.

I'm still too hot and I want ice cream!!!

I like the heat but I do need some sort of breeze with it or I can't cope.
    Hope all is well x

Apart from the usual 12 year old child problems, things are good so far!
  • So I thought I would do a quick update on things.

We've been in the new house a little over three months now, hasn't that flown?!?

In that three months things haven't gone smoothly on the family side of things, some of you know what's gone on, but over all things are generally better. The kids certainly have a better quality of life.

Financially, things so far seem to be going the right way, despite DS's little hiccup the other week  It has helped that the mortgage now goes out on the 1st of every month and the meal plan seems to be going in the right direction regardless of a slight mishap occassionally.

There are areas which need attention, both personally and financially and I need to look at long term goals and make plans and make sure that DH is aware of where I want us to be in 6 - 10 years.

Once again I am toying with the idea of a new diary, but unsure if its the right time. I said a while back that I'd wait until the new year, may be I should wait?

long term goals are def something worth discussing with DH, then you both know where you want to be.

Glad the most of the negative stuff has been sorted, and that things have settled.

12 year olds are just practising for becoming a teenager  :rotfl::rotfl: lets hope he's pushing the boundaries and will be an :A come 13 :p I hope my kids aren't the 13 year old I was  :rotfl:
