    Afternoon,

First week didn't go to well with my allowance, I went a bit over...about £5 and I only brought my lunch once this week. Things I can restart next week.

Home Insurance has gone out :j: so has the new council tax payment and the new water payment.

Need to update the finances this weekend, DH has £400 in expenses due in just under two weeks, that'll help.

My CV has gone out to the agencies and also to a company local to home. Fingers crossed that I will find something soon and won't be trekking to London any more. I explained that my motive for moving was purely due to relocation, so watch this space.

Looking forward to the weekend, lots planned that I need to get done.

Not much else to report, just plodding along.

ETA: DH got caught speeding, so thats a fine and points.

You might have gone over a bit but at least you had a budget and kept track ;)

Good luck on the job front.

Grrr to DH naughty step for him ;)

    Have a lovely weekend x

  • Just done a quick play about with the figures and we could be sub £7K by Christmas if things go ok.

That would be a great start to 2018.

That would be a brilliant achievement!

Is the card still the one you're attacking rather than the overdraft? Or is it both. I should read back and check :o

It would make me happy, would feel like we've achieved something this year.

Yes it's the main card, need some kind of plan for the overdraft next year.
  • Morning and happy Saturday.

Got a grumpy boy today, god help me when he's a full blown teenager!

First load is in the washer, it's very hot here this morning so should be able to get loads dry. Need to get the first load out and the next load in before we go out.

DH has gone to the opticians, it's a new one and due to the masses of problems he's had with his eyes, he's hoping for good things from this one.

Got loads to do this weekend:
Bracknell for Father's Day stuff, only need a few bits
    Washing
    Ironing
    Food shop for bits
Go through finances and assess for the month
Go for a walk, I quite like doing that around here
Get sorted for work next week
Make sure DS does his homework ready for next week

    Have a great day xx

    Love how organised you are!

I'm glad you've mentioned fathers day again. I need to remember to get the kids to make cards.

Weather is lovely here too :D always makes the days happier doesn't it.

    Have a lovely day x

    Morning,

Another attack, it's unbelievable. So glad that I'm looking to work closer to home.

Had a busyish day yesterday. All the washing done and dried before it piddled down, food shop done was still expensive but we've got more bits in the freezer now to last us. Got the rest of DH's Father's Day bits, went in to Wokingham instead as its closer.

Took the kids to the local golf course, they have a family bit, so we played in the Jurassic crazy golf bit, lots of animated dinosaurs and sunshine. Was heaps of fun and lots of laughs :D we're going to go back again as DS wants to do the Footgolf (golf with footballs) and DD wants to do the big hole golf. Total spent there £21

Was lovely to sit in the garden yesterday and relax.

Cooking day today, need to make the beef and ale pie for dinner tonight, Bolognese for dinner tomorrow and cut up a joint I got for beef casserole next Friday when the parents are here.

Still need to do the finances, hopefully I'll get chance to do them today.

Have a nice Sunday and stay safe peeps x

ETA - Menu plan done for the next two weeks, shouldn't need to buy too much.
