Shopping done, managed to get a few bits reduced so they've been stashed in the freezer. Spent far too much, so need to be careful the rest of this month.
Been to the bank and changed address over.
Put bleach in the washer as the last load didn't smell right.
Just having 5 mins before I start on something else.0 -
Morning,
Hope everyones bank holiday has been ok?
Meal plan done for the next fortnight, only need a few bits to see us through.
Respective payments made to the CC's, MBNA is now in the £7k's, so that's going the right way. BC is still in the background and until the MBNA is at a reasonable level, then I'll think about moving it to the forefront.
Transferred money over to savings account for payments coming out towards the end of the month, we managed to keep £247 back from May, this will hopefully see us through June.
June has quite a few things going on for the kids, so I'm aiming for a relatively easy month but we'll see, especially as DS has his 13th birthday.
Finally picked up the dishwasher cleaner but forgot to buy carrots, despite a list :rotfl:
I get paid in the next few days too.0 -
All going well0

Happy hump day today
Not a AFD but it was a LAD instead, I think I slept better for it too.
Forgot my lunch yesterday but I didn't go mad, I used my £2 allocated for the day and spent £1.95. Lunch has been made for today though.
Supposed to be my pay day today and it's not gone in yet, they never rush when it comes to paying people, even staff. Will check later this afternoon, it should've by then.
Sent my cv to two of my contacts, only one has come back so far.
One of the DC's is leaving, he's agency and has found a permanent position so he's off, I've been asked to take on his workload too, so no chance of being sacked yet then :rotfl:
Kids managed to lock themselves out yesterday afternoon, luckily one of the neighbours took them in, ours were playing with their kids anyway.
DS has a parade night at cadets tonight, they show parents what they've learned, so dinner for DH and I will be having chippy dinner I think.0 -
Afternoon,
Updated my sig to reflect that I brought my lunch today.
Spent £1.25 out of my £2 allocation. At this rate I'll be able to buy my lunch on Friday
Had a lovely long walk around the park opposite site, I'm trying to up my steps and beat last weeks total.
Finally got paid, emailed payroll and within the hour it had been bacs transferred over. Saw the cash and thought...yay! I'm rich then remembered most of it comes out tomorrow, so I'm kind of rich until lunchtime tomorrow :rotfl:
Spoke to the kids and reminded them not to lock themselves out today, also reminded them that we need to get DH's Father's Day bits on Saturday, its the last weekend free before the end of the month.0 -
Saw DS at cadets tonight, it was really nice to see what he does. There were a lot of parents there and VIPs from outside the squadron who did an inspection. Proud mum moment.
Dinner was from the 'kebab van' & was nicer than the last place.0 -
I can't remember the last time I had a kebab. It all sounds like it's going well.
Have you decided on what areas of the house you would like to improve? Do you think it will be a long-term home?0 -
Afternoon PMO2, just caught up with the last few pages of your diary. Wow what a month you have just had!!
Hoping June is more calm for you.
I too love being a proud mum and watching the kids at their activities xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon
Misty - No plans just yet, still unpacking :rotfl: There are a few things we do want to change and decorate but have decided to just live here for the first year and then decide. Yes this will be a long term home for us.
mummytogirls - Thanks for popping inI hope June will be less eventful too. The kids have better social lives than us! but it is nice to see that they do things at the clubs they do.
