Afternoon,
It's our Anniversary today, first time ever that DH forgot to get a card...not overly fussed.
Finances still look ok, I need to look at a possible road to park on that's near the station, this will save on parking charges. Will have a quick look tonight.
Sorted out what 'extras' are in the line up for next month:
DD has two Guiding trips that need paying this month, then all done.
DD has the Year 6 trip that needs paying
DD also has a sponsored bounce thingy
DS has his bithday next month
Mum & step-dad are down for the weekend
Half term too
Things are going to be tight this month, so I really need to get my act together and really keep an eye on what's coming in and going out.
Time to step it up a notch and put my MSE head on totally, no more laying back, don't have time this month.0 -
Happy anniversary x
Did the cardigan turn up? I hope so!
You're always very busy0 -
Thanks HI x
DD forgot to check her pe bag, so the cardigan remains aloof.
You are busier than me Hun, which I had half your energy xx0 -
Came home just as DH & DS were going to Cadets, walked in the house to be greeted with a card and a lovely bunch of flowers.
Forgot to add Fathers Day to my list on my earlier post.
4 days to DH's pay day & 9 days til mine.0 -
Aww how lovely!
Opps when is fathers day? :rotfl:0 -

Sunday 18th June I think0 -
What awful news to wake up to this morning FB is constant with the info too.
All good so far with the finances, I've transferred back over some of the money I moved at the beginning of the month. 4 days until DH gets paid 9 days until I get paid. DH gets his payrise this month too :j
Trying to find a cheaper way to go to work. This month I will get a monthly ticket from the nearest station, the month after I will go to Egham which is 30 min drive away and see if that's any cheaper.
So MSE head back on.....things I can do in June:
Take lunch to work (boring but could eat in the park if its nice) only done this once or twice this month
Avoid alcohol during the week - think of my waistline
Bring snacks in from home
Stick to £10 pw - Not been doing this and I really should
Apart from the above, it's the usual stuff that I try and do anyway, such as the meal planning.0 -
Morning Happy Hump Day
Hope all's well? Very tired this morning, looking forward to the weekend.
Home insurance hasn't come out yet, will leave it until Friday and if it still hasn't I'll ring them up find out what's going on.
Everything else is plodding along quite nicely.
Need to update my cv this weekend and put it on my memory card, I'm going to start making enquiries and see what there is locally.0
