Wow, you're going great guns today! Good for you.
That's a great price for the chicken. I've just looked and there are no Heron stores near by, but there is a Farmfoods in the town with the £1 charity shop, I've never been in but have thought as I drove by that I should have a look.
Sorry you fell yesterday - are you sore today? It made me think of a time years ago when I was walking up some stairs in a movie theatre with an old boyfriend. I tripped on a step and instead of helping me up, my boyfriend kept going quickly up the stairs. He was embarrassed and didn't want people to think I was with him.
I don't blame you for cancelling your counselling. If you don't like the lady, there is probably not much chance of her helping you.
There is a mystery shop that often comes up here for a pub restaurant. They reimburse you for part of the bill, but it wouldn't cover everything. It would only be worth it if I was planning on going anyway. It's just extra money that I don't want to spend IMO. I used to get a few like that for a supermarket, but that one was worth doing because I would need to buy food anyway. Since we moved to the new town, nothing like that comes up anymore.
Are you looking forward to tomorrow?:happylove0 -
Hi Thistle
Thanks for popping in. Yes I am looking forward to it actually. Whenever I start to doubt it I just think - it's only 3 hours, the girls are great, the work is really fast so I probably won't even notice the time and I need a change of scene desperately.
And no fortunately only my pride was hurt yesterday! Thanks for asking though x
Well, I did my three loads of washing and am about to embark on washing up mountain number 3. I so need a dishwasher.... I've also listed 4 items on 3Bay - I really love their new listing form. It's so much easier.
Here's the little story from my DS about me.
All About Mum
Mum is 90 years old. She lives in a junkyard and loves it. She wears black shirts, brown t-shirts and grey pant.
She doesn’t wear trousers as she doesn’t have enough money. She only has 1p in her pocket as she doesn’t like money.
:eek::eek::eek:
He's right about the grey pant(s)! but I will confirm that I do wear trousers (at least when in public) :rotfl:
Gawd what do others think of me if that's my son's vision of me? Surprised he didn't mention I have turnips growing under my arms and I push a shopping trolley around with my worldly goods in.:rotfl:
Anyway that's enough for now. Chores are calling me xxLBM Jul 16 £26,823.83, Nov 16 £27,961.98, Dec 16 £26,977.66, Jan 17 £26,884.76

Hope you're not too sore after your fall yesterday
Good luck going back to work, it will probably be good for you to have a change of scenery.
Love DS note about you :rotfl: poor mummy!
Have a lovely Sunday xx0 -

Oh Smolly your DS's story did make me laugh! Especially the grey pants - I fear we all have some of those lurking!
Glad to hear you're feeling better and looking forward to getting back to work - as you say for the change of scene alone it will be a good thing.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Oh that is funny! You live in a junkyard? Are you secretly hiding in my dining room? Was it supposed to be an accurate description of you or just a story?
I'm looking forward to hearing about your first day back at work tomorrow, and hoping it all goes smoothly!:happylove0 -
Hi Ladies
DS wrote a story about the dog too - but that was accurate!!! Think he was pulling my leg a bit the cheeky monkey - that would be the legs without trousers though!!! Wonder where I keep my 1p?!
Anyway am heading off for an early night. OH has tried to shatter my mood in true OH style but I won't be beat. I did get really down earlier about it but I dragged myself up and out of it. Nothing is going to ruin tomorrow for me.
