Well I think the roof may be just about sorted - he thinks he found the problem. Removed a couple of tiles and replaced some felt and re-sealed the guttering.

We've been out for the afternoon - bouncy castles and go karts and an icecream. Also popped to get some veg and a couple of bits for friends BBQ at the weekend.

I've just made dinner and put a wash on too. The vac is upstairs - my room done but I want to do the kids rooms and the landing too.

Sunshine has made me all tired, lol

Fling open the window and let in the fresh air

Friday Frenzy ~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Open the windows and let in the fresh air...

    Clean 2 windows
    HHI
Took the kids plus DDs friend to the PYO farm - now have fruit to make jam with :D That's tomorrows job.

Slow going, but I've just been chipping away at it and I've done more than I thought possible.

I am home. I dare say I will be back there next week, for part of the week at least.

Thank you all for the welcome back posts, much appreciated. Valli, the window business didn't compromise your dignity at all, did it? You must love your sister a lot

Yes, I do. When she told me I sobbed...then asked how I could help. It knocked me for six, though.

All the stuff we sorted to throw/ charity shop is here, so a burden lifted from her.

I am helping at a fundraiser tomorrow, quality stuff is going there.

Glad you are home safely Valli X

I'm trying to plan my route for a trip.

I can go south, then west then north and a little east (motorway most of the way, a couple of road works and I know most of the route)

North, west. then south (motorway most of the way & lots of road works)

Or North then West (cross country A roads) all routes are supposed to take a similar amount of time within 10 mins.

I need to plan possible toilet stops in case needed.

    Morning All :hello:

My plan to clean my sons bedroom and konmaie it went out the window, although I did manage to open the window and air his room... I fell asleep and woke up at noon, I had plans at 2 so that was that, oh well..

Not even going to attempt to catch up apart from maybe the me time :D, so my plan this weekend is shopping for new school uniforms , my daughters school has changed their uniform, so I have to buy replacements for everything  ... at least my son is still in primary and I can buy the cheaper stuff, hers has to be official stuff.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and look forward to doing a full week with you all, thank you once again for the list and the warm welcomes xx

I'm always off list, so don't worry ladies about it, but I get there in the end! :)

I have new neighbours, going to miss my old one, and his grand daughters, but he has moved about only 3 miles away, already have an invite to the house warming.......... :)

Work today, tonight I'm going to knock and meet the neighbours, want to get on with them, as they have a small right of way over my land, want to make sure, they understand it is a right of way, not a parking place etc! :) taking a bottle as well.

Daily stuff is sort of done, the rest I can do tonight.

  • Matody - are they very strict at your daughter's school. I bought all the official stuff for my son, only to discover that it was quite usual to buy the jacket and tie official, and the rest supermarket. I wished someone had told me first. The official list was from one department store right down to item code numbers.
