Morning all.
Hugs Ishtar- keep on posting to share your achievements!
It was lovely to come down to a tidy house. I was half expecting the kids to have trashed it but it was only a couple of bits of surface damage!!!
Going out in half an hour (just waiting for washing to finish so I can peg it out before we leave!).
My aim is to dust and Hoover kiddies rooms as we tidied them yesterday. That shouldn't take long. Then dovthebathrooms when we get back!!
Have a good day. Catch you all later!Grocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2500 -
Dizzy - that's good news x
Ishtar - hugs; doldrums are here today x
Seems that if I have a nice day out like I did yesterday, I have to pay with a 'down' day the next day. Only managed to make myself get up an hour ago
Got to clear the small table in the front room today though or the kits I'm collecting tomorrow won't have a space for their cage!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Afternoon all.
Busy morning here. Although I've not stopped since 9am (except to have a coffee earlier) I don't appear to have much to show for what I've done whereas DD has cleaned the whole of upstairs except the bathroom and you can tell. I hate days like this.
WM x4 done and hung out, and I've rejigged the contents of DD's bookcases so all her books now fit properly. DD has also groomed Zack.

One male human, age 66; fit and healthy for his age.
Reasonably house-trained; but has RSD (Random Selective Deafness).
Doesn't bark; indeed, if occupied with pc or a book, you won't even know he's there!
Will answer to basic commands as long as attention not distracted by pc.
Eats pretty much anything (nb - expects feeding AT LEAST three times a day, preferably more).
Any takers??:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Bathrooms clean. Kitchen floor clean, bed stripped, bedding washed and about to go back on. Ironing done. Over the two days we have also emptied 2 wardrobes and sorted contents. I did the donkey work. Sis said either 'keep', 'throw' or 'you can have that'.
I have the stairs to vacuum next. Two flights. I no longer think living in a three storey house would be 'fun'.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Thank you all for the welcome back posts, much appreciated. Valli, the window business didn't compromise your dignity at all, did it? You must love your sister a lot.Narc0lepsy wrote: »Welcome back Honeybear, hope all is well with you. I'm still a sloth.
Now I know I'm back where I belong, right at home and in excellent company!
Still scuffling along clearing hotspots. Devastated that part of one of them has now been moved to my office floor, the last place I need more piles of 'I'll do that later.' Still, half a shelf looks a bit better and that's major progress.Better is good enough.0 -
