I am ironing. While high thread count Egyptian cotton bedding is luxurious it's a booger to iron and lift!

Excellent recycling shifting there! Well done Mrs Moneypenny

Welcome home honey bear was just thinking about you the other day when I was in my flurry of decorating ;) I hope you and yours are well xx

I've pulled all my cleaning stuff out and sorted / organised into the last kitchen cupboard. Also managed to wash pen marks out of DD tshirt.

Kiddies have made "passports" this morning but all our glue is dried up, lol. So they've started a crafts shopping list... This could get messy!

No sign of the windscreen people yet - said between 11 & 3 which is a bit of a nuisance but never mind. Read meters and checked bank accounts.

    Valli glad you managed re-entry!

Oooo @utogl@ss are on their way :T

Ooo not only is my new windscreen in, but the kitchen man came and fitted the last bit of splashback! He's also put sealant on every edge and even did round the windowsill :T

We can't use the car for half an hour but after that we may pop to h0me b@rgains for some craft supplies.

I'm also pretty sure my leak is a gutter problem rather than my rather complicated conservatory roof - I can't quite see as my ladders aren't high enough but I can see it dripping from there... I'm sure stepdad will be able to see to it. I must buy him a nice wee thank you gift - he's been back and forth for over a month doing bits here and there.

Also got my TCs sorted - apparently there is something called a 4 week run-on so they have given me working tax credit for the 4 weeks after I finished work. Seems mad - I never had it before. What a bonkers system!

Right, I'm going to tidy up after lunch and send DD to bed she's beyond whingy today...

LW what did you think of the film? I'm an Original Series Trekky and the new Spock is just NOT right!
It must be very hard to find actors who are "just right" for something that's been pretty much an institution for 50 years, I guess. The ones I take issue with are McCoy (the original had blue eyes, of the real startling blue variety) and Chekov - the chap they have in that role is just so.... well, forgettable is the word that comes to mind. Doesn't have the charisma that Walter Koenig brought to the role.

Hugs for you too Dizzy - men really are from Mars! Mine would have been exactly the same. Can't sit still for a minute unless of course I have a job list for him!!
Since Mr LW retired, he seems to be permanently welded to the pc.

He's gonna have to get up off his arris in a minute; I need to make an apple crumble, and it's his job to peel and slice the apple, so as not to risk my fingers.

Valli - that really made me smile!
    Honeybear - welcome back :)
Bossy - that's all fab stuff, what a productive day
Mrs MP - well done you what a heap!
Ionafan - look after yourself lovely xx

We've been to the charity shop, the tip, done a bit of paid stuff, been to the Disney store, done a top up shop, vacc'd all round and S&S kitchen and bathroom. Sitting down with a brew whilst DD has a snack and plays Shopkins lol.

Also took DD to get her feet measured as we were passing - didn't think she would need new shoes as only measured 2 months ago. She's gone up a size and a half :o so I bought new ones there and then and she wore them out of the shop. She had never said the others felt tight :o

I think I'll wait till the week before she starts reception to buy school shoes! Xxx
