Thanks. We should hopefully know more about both by the end of the week.

Everything crossed for good news on both fronts.

    Hi,

    It's been ridiculously busy here!

Don't want to jinx things as I haven't received contracts but I have been offered a job and we have found a house!!!!

    Pros and cons:
    Job:

Hours are perfect and role is exactly what I wanted
Feeling anxious being in an employed environment. The pay isn't great.

    House

    Lovely location
    Rent is higher

I'm not getting too excited about either until we sign contracts.

    Hope everyone is well.

Hopefully things will start to get better for you. The job will be a start back into the working world for you and having an additional salary will help improve your situation. Fingers crossed the house works out too for you.

Congratulations on the house and the job. There's never going to be a perfect scenario but it's a foot in the door with work & can hopefully help with the higher rent at the new place. Brilliant news :)

    Hi,

I after some advice please. The house is going to cost us £250 more a month but that's the norm for this area. I'm feeling quite stressed about this because I won't be earning loads so my income will just cover the difference and nursery fees. We won't be any better off financially and this is worrying considering we struggle so much.
