I emailed boots on 17/9 and eventually got a reply on 25/9 so maybe give them another day if you feel uncomfortable about calling them but i would say call at the end of the week if you dont hear.

I bought 3 Estee Lauder sharpeners last week for £4.50 each and 1000 points back and a free gift, however, no free gift arrived so i emailed them. Got the "sorry we try to order enough but sometimes we run out but as an apology here is 1500 points".

Well thank you Mr boots. :j

I complained on Sat about my memory card vouchers being refused, as it stated no terms and conditions, and got an email yesterday say if I post off my receipts and vouchers they'll investigate it? o.O

Well i hope you are all not holding out for any good offers. Is it me or are they getting really poor.

Yep they are getting totally rubbish! But don't you think thats because its Christmas and they wont NEED the custom as people will be buying gifts anyway - I assume thats why there are no vouchers at the moment. I can't see us getting any new vouchers until after xmas -

what happened pre-xmas last year anyone know??

However, when January comes, everyone is skint and Boots give you a good voucher to entice you to come back (not you personally ! 'you' generally!) Roll on January I say! SALES!!!

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

  • Just been to my local Boots and whilst paying I did spy what looked to be the new vouchers (to replace the £5 Time Delay etc one). They were hidden under lots of paperwork, but it looked as though they are something to do with fragrance. I spent £8 but didn't get one - don't know if they are giving them out yet
Also, in store they do have up to 50% off some fragrances (men and women) - special display counter - quite a lot of choice.

sniff sniff... i hope i smell new vouchers :rotfl: :rotfl:
i can't stop thinking about the 90% off sale in january

has anybody ordered a new ac and they said they are cancelling the old one and you won't be able to use it again but the till still puts points on your card when you buy things and the acm still gives you vouchers etc ???
I'm hoping they havn't cancelled it and have transfered my points to the other one too,so that leaves me with 2 cards and double the points i had ;)
please pray for me :A :rotfl: :rotfl:

is anybody else feeling a bit rubbish that you are so sensible and bought prezzies throughout the year but now really want to do xmas shopping but can't because you don't really need anything!!!:D

This is my problem every year. Buy the pressies in the Jan sales agree to spend £30 on each person and by the time christmas comes see more and more. Last year calculated spending about £100 on each person.

This year i must have more self control.
