    Don't forget you need to declare your income if it exceeds the Rent a Goat scheme over £7500 pounds

    But it's the owner/supplier of the goat who will need to comply with the scheme. OP will be paying out, not receiving income.

    They will if they sell the milk, HMRC could come onto them like a sack of bricks. Not even Tea and Cake will help the OP

    Perhaps the vendor was a much better gardener than you and did manage to do it all in the time she stated. Did your surveyor time her cutting the lawn? If not, that was a bit remiss of him.

    1. You are wrong to think that lawns don't need mowing very frequently and that any garden will "look after itself".
    2. You should not have relied on anything that the vendor told you informally.
    3. You are a greedy naive fool if you think you can now claim compensation.
