How does one person hold 3 Reward accounts - at £5 month for each account?
The account has been available since Feb 2009, and the early bird always catches the worm!

I will keep the Halifax card purely for withdrawing cash from ATMs abroad. If you make an online payment the same day to cover the cash withdrawal, you pay no interest.

You mean early bird catches the £5 :D

So you saying previously you could have multi reward accounts?

When they were first announced you could have 3 of each - 3x Halifax and 3x BoS.

Yes, used to be you could have 3each plus a joint one. Not sure it was 3 Halifax + 3 BOS? I was refused a second BOS one or a 3rd Halifax one, and we have had them since they were introduced.

I have 3, OH had 2, but now only 1, and we have a joint one we use as our main account, so now £25 per month rewards, plus as a non-taxpayer I can claim back the £52.50 tax that was deducted. So £352.50 per annum.

We also have 2 Clarity cards, so that was another £10 per month = £120 per annum.

    Was good while it lasted.

We will keep ours for using overseas as we are away about 3 months every year.

Otherwise, need to look for a decent cashback card.

Some could! I already had 3 Halifax, when I moved onto BoS...but as fast as I was opening them, BoS were closing them a few days later!

Others experienced the same. I think those that succeeded with 3 of each were very much in the minority?

I got my own back a few months later though when I redesignated an old HICA to get my 4th Halifax Reward account, and I've managed to hang on to all 4 for 7 years now.

I'm going to keep my Clarity card but only for oversees use.

If they ditch the £5 monthly reward for the current account, I'll switch my current account.
