    My children are the same with fruit - we buy it and they don't eat it, so we don't buy it and then they want it!!!

    There was a woman last week in the news who is feeding her family on £38 a week or something similar. She had quite a few critics over the lack of fruit on her receipt. But veg is just as important, and maybe she has picky fruit eaters too, who knows.

    With any apples rejected Bob, I just chop them up and freeze them until I have enough to stew them and make a crumble. Although now very rare they leave any!
    Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

    I'm glad to hear of a fellow 'rejected fruit' crumble maker. :rotfl:

    Evening All

    Not a bad Tuesday. And the fact tomorrow is not only Wednesday but pay day!!!! Makes it an even better Tuesday.

    Wealth

    * A client wants to add half a day which is good news.

    * Walked the hour and a quarter to school to save on bus fares. Was a lovely day in any case and I do find walking so good for thinking time.

    * Found 20p roadkill

    Health

    * Chicken wings, home made potato wedges and green salad for dinner. I love wings for a cheap meat meal (£1.79 for 12 in Mr S)

    * Two hours walking in total today.

    Organisation

    * Dailies done

    * Put the chicken wing bones into a bag to freeze.

    * Decided to use up the half bottle of whole milk left over from my event on Sunday for pancake batter.

    * Checked banking.

    * Went into the school office to chase up a form they'd lost.

    Tonight I plan to do very little. I have a date with Dead Enders :) & Two Silent Witness to catch up on.

    I'm busy trying to catch up with telly as well. Just managed to get caught up with Easties but still need to do Silent Witness. I was way too excited about new Air Crash Investigation last night.

    Don't think I know that one. Which channel is it on?
