    Hi Bob,
Sorry you have been feeling down. The mortgage mess is really frustrating and has probably precipitated all your fears. You have taken a huge step for a better future and all the change is a lot to handle - SE isn't a smooth ride as you know - but remembering to remember all the reasons why you are doing this really helps - and you talked yourself through it in you post:T

I'm really feeling the rollercoaster you are on - all I can say is Hang on tight and Don't let go (of your dreams):)

Have a lovely weekend with your family.
    xx

Oh NOA you'd better pass me a hankie cos I am feeling all tearful reading your lovely words. Thank you so much.

    Hi All

Today has been nice so far. I walked over to the shop with DD to check if there was any mail and make sure it was secure etc. Good job I did as my window cleaner had been in earlier in the week and not set the alarm properly!!! I had to ring him up and explain it again. Its quite simple and Im sure he will be fine next time but I cant have that going on.
The walk there and back took me about an hour so that was a nice bit of exercise at pace. DD napped on the way so she was happy enough.
I took some pictures of a couple of galleries on my way back for inspiration. I may get in touch with all the local galleries to explain what Im doing and offer to point any clients their way if I am already booked and to ask for the same in return.

Met up with OH and DS for coffee (bad I know but needed) whilst there DD did a faceplant by spinning round suddenly whilst only holding one of my hands. She was screaming in pain and has a red nose now. But she calmed down after a feed. Im hoping no damage has been done.
Popped into Mr S to get groceries. Found a lovely big bit of pork for £3.65 so have wacked that in the oven on low heat to do pulled pork.
On the way back we walked through the park with the river and DS walked around in it again for about an hour. DH even took DD for a little paddle but she got cold quite quickly.
Managed a tiny chat with DH whilst we sat on the bank. He is going to spend a morning at the shop tommorow starting to prepare the walls for decoration. So that is a physical change happening that will feel good.
I also explained to him that I feel the new business will live or die on its promotion. With this in mind I want us to get our flyer artwork done and to the printer in the coming few days. I think this will also make me feel really good because I can take charge of my destiny as it were. 2000 flyers for £100 is the deal. So we can make that a purpose for our outings as well.
DS was given a camera by his grandad recently that he didnt want. He has been taking pictures of good places to put posters up whilst we have been on various journies. And I have told him I will pay him per day he helps me with them.

I was hoping the artists would be in touch to view this weekend but sadly not.
Also I was supposed to be showing the place to a street food guy. But not heard. The weather is making people less business orientated I guess :)

In other news still no sales on my 2 big ebay items but the person who bought the stereo who I assumed would charge back due to the location, hasnt. She text today to arrange collection.
    Right better get on.

    Bye for now
    Bob

Absolutely that - my business always goes to sleep in August :(
Don't forget lots of people are off on holiday, or about to go, and are saving their money for that. It will be ok in a few weeks :)

    Good afternoon all (just)
This morning OH has gone to do some work on the shop. He sent me an email showing our new ad is out (eek) local paper had delivered. So of course my phone will be ringing off the hook now right? (Hopeful face)
On the suggestion of another member here we downloaded the Geocache app and went out at 9.30 to try that. OMG epic fail. It was fun at first but as we went back and forth over the same area with the GPS beeping to say we were right on top of it and yet still we couldnt see it things began to unravel. DS fell over and hurt himself and the baby was so bored she screeched at me continually. Shes doing that all the time now. Its a high pitched scream/not a cry, that just blows your ear drums. Anyway despite paying the £4.50 to upgrade to premium with hopefully more hints etc we still didnt find it. So we trekked on to the next one but had no luck there either. We had optimistically bought a pack of Freddos to put in as our treat items but DS ate them in the end!

At least the little one nodded off on the way home. Was planning to watch Easties on catch up but DS wanted to hang out some more...just waiting for OH to come home now.

    See you later
    Bob

Lots of activity going on, hope you've had a good afternoon.

My second job is quiet too, you would imagine being a sport it would be busy during the holidays but this year hardly anyone has booked on to the activity day I am running tomorrow. I'm hoping some people turn up on the day.

I never got on with the Geocaching either, I probably didn't give it much of a chance really!

Fingers crossed for the ebay sales, H x
