Todays been good. Started off a bit flat but we managed a decent outing to an adventure playground this morning, home for lunch then at 2pm we went back out, you guessed it to the rope swing! Played for about an hour, picked some blackberries then ended up going home and straight back into the garden till 5pm. So the children have had a lot of fresh air today. I only spent £10 today including our dinner for tonight. That also got us 1 lolly for DS and a bubble wand to blow for DD.
If I was sending him to camp it would be £15 to £25 per day plus packed lunch. He went for one week and decided he didnt want to go back. So a month to fill till back to school.
DD just bathed and down. So off to put our tea on in a minute. Have just been sat here sending a few emails. Decided to try emailing a couple of tutors direct to ask about final year art students who might be interested in space.
Ordered a new cheque book too as thats been on my list for a while.
Right back later

Sounds like another full couple of days, rope swings and blackberries sound awesome.
My ds fun club costs £25 a day during the holidays and I would have to send a packed lunch too, I'm so grateful to my parents this summer they are saving me a fortune.
Good idea to contact college about space for art students, and I hope the artists group reschedule soon.
* My 2 cherubs are 11 and 7 (8 on 17th August), they are pretty good on the whole, a bit crazy but we get complimented on their behaviour and happiness, they are lovely!0 -

Morning All
Have woken to a text booking a party. Just have to go through the options to get the deposit now. Always a bit nerve wracking till thats paid. As of yet (touch a lot of wood) I have never had a cancellation. If it comes in I will pay off £100 of my electricity bill for the month. I managed to do one of those agreements to pay with my provider so have to clear it by August 27th.
Fell asleep watching the final episode of Stranger Things on netflix last night. Compelling drama but nothing seems to stop the zonko feeling once it starts. Im wondering if its hormonal actually as I am sure I never used to be a sofa nodder.
Right on with the show!

Hi Bobarella, sorry only just seen your question.
Hubby has been self employed all our married life really but the work is very up and down, either mad busy or quiet (he does telecoms stuff) My business is on line and I started in a small way but it has got quite busy so he works with me on his quiet days. Its going well and I'm hoping its something we can do together when he retires:)Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Yes going into year 4, he is the youngest in his class some of the lads are giving out party invitations for their next birthday when they go back in September so turn 9!
Did you get the deposit for the booking? Hope you did and have had a good day, the body has a good way of telling us when we need to sleep even if that's on the sofa!

That must have been hard. I sympathise. Boom or bust makes budgeting very hard, but your own business sounds like its doing well now. Good for you. A shared retirement plan is ideal.:T" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
