Bob, glad that your dd is ok now. I haven't tried the Geo-thingy, I'm not very patient and the boys take after their father with "having a man-look" for things, if its not straight in front of them they'd never find a thing!! lol

Legomum you made me do a snort *man look* its SO a thing. My son does it too. Dramatic flinging of self around the house because the item he wants is nowhere. I dont even react anymore because I can see it from here:rotfl:

    Good evening All

I've only gone and sold the meat slicer! I have a real live human buyer and everything. I got £185 in the end. I need the cash so didnt want to push my luck and lose the buyer. He is coming to collect tommorow night, cash on delivery. Woo hoo!

Still £723 short of having all my bill money for the month but y'know. Great oaks, small acorns.

Equally great, had a really good meeting with a supper club potential tonight. She seemed a very interesting lady, & was interested in persuing the situation. I didnt dictate a price but gave her a range to consider and is going to talk go her partner and come back to me. If I can get one solid event in the diary it gives me a great point to start marketing with.

Cycled to and from the meeting so that felt good to get some exercise too. Both kids were still up when I got home at 8, OH was a bit outgunned. But they are now sleeping and we have just finished our roast chicken dinner. So netflix and zzzzz....

    Night.

Ooh hope dd is OK, it is always rather annoying when you actually get to see gp and can't show anything, but glad the rash went. Any ideas on the cause?

Yay for selling the meat slicer, hope he collects on time.

Another person busy this evening, roast chicken dinner sounds good! I'm hungry now, must refrain from raiding the fridge :EasterBun (I know it's not Easter but I could quite easily eat a massive bar of chocolate, a Tobelerone in fact - one of those massive ones you get from duty free at the airport!)

Anyway good news on this evenings progress, night night H x

Huggle no no idea at all. I can only suspect the dreaded teething which seems to often be to blame for strange things. Although the doctor didnt seem to believe it could be.

Now you have me thinking of chocolate...ummmm

    Morning All

Not much on today which is fine. OH has gone into the office. We have already got up and been to Mr T. Its daily shopping for me at the moment as no car and not wanting to drag the kids around the big supermarket its little and often. But that doesnt mean we hammer the budget.
Todays shop included Mr T own brand nappies, tinned tomatoes as I wont pay for a pasta sauce when I can make it. 28p crackers instead of 98p Jacobs ones. Meatballs on special offer 12 for £1.50. This will do 2 or 3 meals for DS with spagetti of course his favourite. Toms, cucumber a multipack of crisps for £1, and of course a bag of frozen raspberies for DS.
We have to be careful this month but having checked we have enough money in the current account to buy groceries, pay for OHs travel and cover the last DD (£50 to FU to cover gas and elec)
I literally use up every last scrap of food in one way or other. Last nights roast chicken dinner will do dinner tonight again for OH, DD and I. Sandwiches for lunch for me today. And possibly go further still. OH went in today with a box of pasta and chilli from Monday nights dinner.
The only food that goes into the bin at the moment is the scraps that DD doesnt eat. Because I cant think of a use for baby scraps that doesnt put me into the company of Exteme Cheapskates :)

Used my clubcard for points and even found a penny under the counter :)

On a more exciting note I now have a watcher on my other expensive item. Its on for £350 (a commercial coffee grinder) dreams away :)

Havent heard from the broker yet today and still supposed to redeem tommorow. I am hoping she will come through for us. Every penny we recieve back as a rebate can go against my large business shortfall.

    Right back later
    Bob

So good things come in 3s it would seem.
    1. Meat slicer collected. £185 cash to pay into account tommorow.
    2. First supper club booked in (lady from last night)
    3. Street food company confirmed for the arts festival at the end of September.

    Woo and indeed hoo!
