    Evening All

Today has been a long un. A very important prep day for this week's event. In among the work stuff I have:
    * Found 5p on the way
    * Had leftovers from yesterday's event for lunch. In fact they fed 4 of us.
    * Opened a new business account, with 25 months free banking. I pay around £20 a month to have my current business account, which came with 18 months free initially. Obviously it's a switchers game.
    * LSD, only spent £3 all day, which was on travel
    * Took coffee and snacks out with me this morning
    * Dinner was a roundup of the fridge items needing to be used up. We had freshly cooked spagetti topped with bacon, carrots, peas, cabbage, in a tomato sauce. All the veg was from Fridays roast.

    Think that's it.

    Tired!

    Bob

P.S I forgot to write yesterday that I had a great bag of street finds. A nice cake container Tupperware which is ideal for my Christmas cake. 2 nice China platters, two other lunch boxes and a folding clothing divider/maybe shoe rack? I have put all the items into a hot cycle on the DW. And will use the hanging storage thingy for a toy tidy.

Just catching up with your diary bob. As usual I am gobsmacked by how much you get done in a day........ plus all the money saving too. Puts me to shame.

Thanks for your very kind comments SG. I'd say you pack a fair amount into your day too though, your cleaning regime was very inspirational!

Being self employed is so scary! You're amazing to do it with small children.

I'm self employed but only overhead is petrol, I'd be a real nervous wreck otherwise. I think you and I are both natural worriers. If I'm not worrying about a real issue, I'm replaying something that happened 20 years ago in my head or imagining something for the future.

Thanks Cheeseface. I am very fortunate that my husband is gainfully employed though or we'd have sunk long ago. Petrol is hardly cheap these days is it.
I do worry about things. It is a hard habit to break. That said I am also a risk taker. Sometimes you have to go for it!

Another busy weekend Bob, likewise I don't know how you do it.

I'm all for trial and finding if it doesn't work then moving on, better to find something that is more financially and time viable for you and the family. Hope the next two weeks go well and everyone pays up on time.

Sounds like son's present is a no brainer if he uses it so much well worth the money.

    Have a lovely day, H x

Thank you Huggle. I really hope so too re the payers. And thanks for the moral support on the gift buying.

Anyway cracked on. Made dinner for kids. Cut up half a sausage Into tiny bits for DD as I have done many times. Was sitting there and all of a sudden she started to choke really badly. Had to put my fingers into her throat to get the food out. It was really scary. She cried and cried after. Still all was ok so no need to dwell.

Right well time to crack on and get our dinner on.

    Bob
I am reading from the beginning so sorry if this has been mentioned, but it is better to not put fingers down the throat if someone is choking as there is a danger you can push the food down further. What we were taught in ante natal classes is to hit the child firmly on the back between the shoulder blades to dislodge the food. Glad it was all sorted. Will now go back to reading.
    regards
